I’ve been to California 4x, all parts of the state. Loved it. Sadly I wouldn’t consider going there now. Maybe Tahoe again.

They have recently identified its becoming the younger demographic that is starting to leave the state because they can't afford housing in CA anymore.

Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma. 

I've never been to CT, ME, RI, MA, VT, NH. Zero chance any would have made the list.

Mississippi is gross. Nebraska is rectangular, flat and has almost nothing going for it. New Jersey is disgusting and useless. Kansas is almost as bad as Nebraska. 

Oklahoma has some pretty beautiful areas and at least has a pro team.

Considered that but other Western / Plains States have that natural beauty at a greater degree, without -40 degree wind chill or have some towns that may be worth visiting - no disrespect Bismarck!

Spokane isnt liberal, neither is most of western Washington. It's the otherside of the mountain where the population density is that makes Washington dark blue. 

Coeur d Alene is quite the dichotomy.  Peace loving hippy farmer market culture with drunk rednecks that come down to cruise main street with their Confederate flags on thier trucks.  One visit I was only there for the weekend just go golf the island green and got into two different fights with those foking rednecks.  The resort has their chit together though for paying customers and they got bounced both times.

Believe it or not, there are a hell of a lot more republicans here than you would guess. 
LA and Silicone Valley don't necessarily represent the state as a whole. 

Then again, most republicans that are able to (those that I personally know, anyhoo) have already jumped ship or are trying to jump ship from here.  
Most of them seem to want to go to Nevada.  Battle Mountain and such.
