wiffleball Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 Damn, it's brutal. It's like 58 degrees here. Probably sky rocket another dozen degrees over the next dozen hours. Calling for rain & clouds throughout. Brutal Warming. Hope it doesn't roon the Juneteenthers. Quote
EternalShinyAndChrome Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 It's hot? In Summer? OMG!!! Global Warming! Global Cooling! Climate Change!! 1 Quote
listen2me 23 Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 Its been like low to mid 90s here last few days. 75% humidity. I cant complain much. But give me snow over that. Perhaps if ai lived south Id get more used to it. Basically feel like doing absolutely nothing outside. Everyone walks around all slimey. Give snow. Of course ill take 75 and partly sunny over all but F this level of heat. Its useless "good" weather unless you are going to sit in a pool all day. Quote
Cdub100 Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 It's 90 here and people are freaking out. I don't understand why. Quote
kilroy69 Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 I am just not doing anything outdoors unless it is swimming. Anything else I have to do outdoors is early in the morning or after 7. Anything else is not bearable and I am not even in one of the hot states. I grabbed an AC unit last year from menards that keeps my entire apartment ice cold. Quote
Engorgeous George Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 Cool, oveercast, and breezy here. I will be wearing sleeves for warmth when I go kayaking. Quote
BunnysBastatrds Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 With the humidity it’s almost as hot as a witches titty. And the Gulf is warming up, which feeds our mother natures friend da hurricane. Quote
Tree of Knowledge Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 92 here. Green New Deal failed. Thanks Biden! Quote
Baker Boy Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 I will say this once more, the trillions of dollars we are spending on combating global warming is increasing our temperatures not decreasing temperatures. The MMGW theory is nothing more than the greatest transfer of wealth and power in the history of the world. —————— According to a 2021 study published in The Lancet Planetary Health, cold is far more deadly. For every death linked to heat, nine are connected to cold. Quote
jerryskids Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 High of 104 expected in Phoenix today. Kinda brisk for June. Tomorrow is 112, that'll suck. 1 Quote
