It's a little rough if you're completely sober, but after being 5 beers in, it's a gold medal winner. So focking good and underrated in the cake family. She texted her SIL for the recipe, and having not heard back right away, she googled one that she liked. Used maybe a tablespoon of amaretto. Then SIL forwarded her mom's recipe -- 1/2 a cup. My mom wasn't much of a drinker but loved amaretto. She had to quit it when I was young as she had severe migraine problems and was told to quit alcohol. Not that it helped... When I was a kid, there was always an amaretto bottle on the kitchen counter, and it was always half full as it lasted for months but occasionally she would have a glass.
