Oh well, I guess your anecdotal feelings supersede all of the links in that article to actual data.  That adds credibility to your asinine assertion that he wasn't a hillbilly, and that a Yale law grad is an idiot.

The anecdata in your article was limited to what? Three companies all in the newspaper industry?

You're right though: Vance clearly isn’t a smart guy. He managed to get bankrolled by Peter Thiel and traded in his integrity to make bank.

It would have been more accurate to call him a phony. Mea culpa.

Umm, the few paragraphs I posted listed 9 companies.  All told there are at least 20 companies listed, if you bothered to click the link.

Also looking back, you've been calling Vance a "fake hillbilly" for at least a year.  Which leftist media site fed you that pablum?

You’re right: I didn’t read it. I’ve read enough about Muh DEI to know it’s a boogeyman gin up for votes.

I’m sure many people call Vance a fake hillbilly. :dunno:

Thanks for being honest.  There was enough specific data in the part I posted to be of concern to anyone who bothers to read it.  But you've got your boogeyman story.

I have no idea if some companies were unlawfully hiring less qualified minorities in the wake of 2020. I doubt that’s a thing because companies are in the business of making $.

The POTUS who complains about DEI appointed a heroin addict as head of HHS in exchange for his endorsement. Merit!

You'd have an idea if you bothered to read what I posted.  But thanks for the red herring about RFK Jr.

You should read the recent Compact Mag article, "The Lost Generation," to learn some statistics about how many industries went ape-shiot DEI for hiring in the past 10 years or so.

https://www.compactmag.com/article/the-lost-generation/

Too many stats to quote; here are a few examples from media:

That's truly focked up. I'm even more grateful for where I work now. I find it interesting that so much of this arose in the aftermath of Floyd and BLM. Fast forward 4 years and the same companies trip over themselves to renounce it. Making money is a lowest common denominator business. Stories like this just make me even less likely to trust corporations in any capacity. Profits over people!

Bro sounded like a complete lunatic today.

No way he ever gets elected president.

Never underestimate the sway of RWM or the ignorance of MAGA. Or Peter Thiel's cash reserves.

Get used to him, he'll be president for 8 years.

God damn if I was willing to make bets with people here I'd tell you to put your money where your keyboard is on this one.

He won't get a single term, let alone 2.

Sure, Trump won't win the popular vote either.

I mean, I'm not impressed, just the opposite, but if he somehow wins the nomination and you put up Gavin Newsome, I'll have no choice but to vote for him.

This couch focking moron said that ice agents have absolute immunity.

Obviously they do not, legally. But since when has this admin ever cared about legality?

The Republican party sure sold out everything they hold dear fast in the name of the Don!

OK with Federal forces going door to door to arrest people from their homes without identification while covering their faces

OK with corruption as long as it's their guys being corrupt.

OK with the State taking control over private companies.

OK with electing a POTUS that consolidates power and neuters the checks and balances on the executive branch

OK with appointing grossly unqualified individuals for positions of authority based only on their allegiance to "daddy."

What is happening right now is literally the fever dream fantasies of a million paranoid militia anti-gov't types ready to "go to war with the gubmint!" Suddenly those same folks are all cool with jackbooted feds raising hell in the streets. No standards, no spine, no soul, no humanity, no morality. No courage or conviction.

How does it feel to completely sell out your ideals, pussies?

JD sees Little Marco in the rear view mirror gaining speed. Then he runs out this “absolute immunity” line after a highly questionable shooting on video and the ICE dudes running around snatching phones is all over social media.

Ooooooof

Let’s hire a bunch of marginally qualified rent-a-cops, deploy them across US cities in an aggressive dangerous and unpopular operation, and grant them absolute immunity to do whatever they want. Under the direction of Kristi Noem.

What could go wrong? 🤡

Its harmless and fun. Both his admirers and detractors use it and he doesn't mind.

As for anyone confused, they'll figure it out as a humorous dig after three seconds of watching the real JD Vance on TV.
