Yeah, I know, you try to throw people. But it seems wrong that if you fail a throw, you can just turtle up on the ground. That doesn't seem to replicate a fighting situation very well. I never liked Kelly Cheng even back when she was Kelly Claes, but I happen to overlap with some of these beach volleyball circles, and most women volleyball players are absolute bìtches... Mostly the ones that are only kind of good, but like the WNBA players, haven't realized pretending to be likeable goes a long way toward growing the sport. I understand the martial arts is a form of defense/or maybe fighting. But these are sports where pts count to getting a medal. You do what you have to do to win. Same with ADCC submission grappling events. Sometimes the superior wrestler hangs out on top afraid to do anything for fear of being subbed by the better pure jujitsu player.
