This is a free league with some scoring modifications and we use IDPs. There is a fairly involved contract system with a restricted free agency period, and an unrestricted free agency period. We also have a 3 round rookie draft that we're looking to start on ASAP. The orphaned team is in decent shape, has the #8 pick in the rookie draft and has plenty of cap space.
