Ravens @ Chiefs NFL Season Opener

Recommended Posts

Chiefs 27-24. Another highly entertaining game between these two. Kelce does not score but Pacheco gets 2 (1 rush, 1 receiving).

I think Henry has a better chance of multiple TD games this year than CMC😮

Obviously his yardage will be down but...

I dont know that they will score this many points.

If Baltimore runs the ball a whole lot more because of Henry, that will kill the clock in a very significant way.  scoring should be down because of this.

I think we are more likely looking at 24-21 or 21-17 or something of the like.

Ravens 24

Chiefs 16

Everyone freaks out thinking that the chiefs lost their mojo.

I’m hoping for a good game from Rice, he’s the only one I have going tonight in both my non and ppr league.

So I guess we'll get to watch the refs make a point calling this illegal formation penalty all night long.

Funny how they literally ignored it all season long last year.

I guess tackling anyone on the offense is now a penalty.

At least we still have some excitement with the kick return game........lol

If Xavier Worthy jumps to high point the ball on that 3rd down pass in the endzone, he probably has a second TD.

In last years first game, the Chiefs tackles weren’t being called for egregious false starts and this year they’re calling the ravens for their tackles being lined up where they’ve always been allowed to. Glad the NFL picked up where it left off.

Changing the game with this pointless penalty is pathetic and they need to stop

Isaiah Likely 4 targets 38 yards

Mark Andrews 0 targets for 0 yards

I guess he's hurt.

12 seconds left in the half with no timeouts.

Two shots to Likely incoming.

Lamar Jackson is going to get himself hurt by game 3 if he keeps playing with reckless abandon like he currently is

Hang on...

I'm starting to watch the formations and they are lining up Likely as WR.

I don’t disagree but their o line is getting owned but lamar is and was always better as an improvised qb and yes I drafted him this year lol so I hope for both him to calm down a little but be improvisational when needed cuz no one is gonna catch him. And I’m surprised the amount of time hill has played especially in the rz area.

agreed.  hes good enough that they gotta find more ways to get him on the field than your 2 TE sets.   dude is especially good againt zone defense.   really good at finding the soft spot in the zone.    and if the chiefs start to play more zone, Likely should get more love

Yep, terrible throw results in likely injury to Likely.

Great game. Likely and Justice Hill very involved. KC has a very nice rookie wide receiver.

Both teams should be proud of their performance.

I hope that M. Andrews' performance was a one-off.  He only practiced this past week, after a car accident about a month ago.  That, and i think some plays he was a designated 6th blocker.

But week 1 was an EXTREME disappointment.  Especially because the TE2 WAS involved.

Typical opening game.

Competitive contest between what should be two playoff teams. Nothing too crazy.

By far the biggest take away from the game though...

Xavier Worthy seems to fit perfectly into the role the Chiefs got him for, and that's gonna make him very valuable.

How valuable?

That's yet to be seen, but he's gonna have some big games at the very least.

Holy fockin fock that was a fun fockin game to fockin be at.

Probably goes something like this for me being at the game:

1. Chiefs > Titans AFC Championship win

2. Chiefs over Texans in the playoffs when they came back from like 28

3. That one

(I'm sure I'm missing a few gems in my list)
