Thought global warming meant hurricanes would destroy the planet, we were supposed to get ready for a category 11 one soon.  700 mile an hour winds blah blah blah....

Cool fronts already are coming, earlier than usual. We're going to have low temps in the 50s here in Texor over the weekend. 

Those fronts decapitate or push away hurricanes. 

Based on arctic core samples and meteorological data, global warming thanks to human carbon emissions is a scientifically proven thing, but leave it to MAGAturds to turn it - like they do everything else - in an obsessive conspiracy theory.

Fossil fuels are going to run out at some point anyway unless we find a cheaper way to generate energy. There's in nothing with gradually moving away from fossil fuels, including the methane that Peefoam emits with every post.

Back in August 2005, when Katrina happened, I subscribed to the Minneapolis 'red' star tribune.

Only weeks later, they featured a front page article with quotes from esteemed scientists throughout the world.

The prevailing theory was that Katrina was just the beginning, & in 2006, we should expect at least 5-6 category 5's

We've had a total of 13 worldwide since then. 

0.68 per year.

I get it.  My post was more about the endless, non stop doomsday predictions. That endless sheet desensitizes people.  Especially when they get busted.
