honestly, I thought he looked ok.   there were a number of plays where he was hit in the backfield and bounced off it to gain 2 or 3.   the Baltimore O line was completely dominated by the KC D line.   Henry did a good job of not going down on the first attempted tackle.  thats what you want.  but you can only do so much when the line isnt blocking for you.

How does your league score QBs?  In mine, he scored over 30 points.  Mahomes only had 17.5.

Mine too.  I played Jackson, but Kelce’s below average night kind of cancelled out a good game by Jackson, so I’m still projected to win.

Much like football the fu thread is all about timing and execution. At the time of my post LJ had 0 td’s and about half as many total yards. After the post he threw the 1 TD pass and added some extra yards and finished with a respectable game….. thanks to my fu post, obviously.🙂

I would be more than a little nervous if I was a Henry owner... Only 13 carries nothing in the pass game in a game that was relatively close. Yikes...

A Henry owner shouldn’t be nervous, his first games never seem to be very good. Last season the Titans lost to Saints week 15-16, and Henry only had 15 attempts.  

If you combine 2021/22/23 week one he’s avg 9.6 .5 ppr points.  

He’s right on schedule.

well, there is fu because your team lost and there is fu because he laid an egg in fantasy.

I suspect this is about the Ravens losing more than this is about fantasy.    but this goes back to the whole difference  between a good QB and a good fantasy QB.  the two are not the same

Not nervous, not a Henry owner, just throwing some encouragement to those that do own Henry in the face of the over reaction from others.

this is hardly the game for anyone to overreact.    they played a very good defense.   but I was not thrilled with the line play.   That didnt loog good at any level

That’s what I’ve been reading in the reports about the game, Oline wasn’t productive.

Fantasy Managers still haven't realized that most of the fantasy points in a game are usually scored in the last 20 minutes.

Most everyone of fantasy note did ok. Only disappointments were Kelce and Andrews.

A little concern with Kelce... he did slump the second half last year - from Wk 8 forward never broke 100 yds and just 1 Td, but woke up for the playoffs with 3 Tds. He certainly wasn't the focal point of that offense last night, as he has been in years past. Still, probably some monster games coming.

Huge concern with Andrews. Some speculated Likely might eventually take over as the lead Te, but not this soon. Ravens probably drafted him as insurance against Andrews getting injured again. But jeesh... 12 targets to 2 targets.?.  That doesn't seem like just an anomoly. More like the Ravens were thoroughly impressed with Likely in camp and wanted to immediately insert him into the game plan - heavily.  We'll see if that continues, but if I owned Andrews, I'd be worried especially given the fantasy draft capital invested.

The last one I remember is Kenny Golladay, who didn't do much else the rest of that season, showed some promise for a few years and flamed out after signing a big free agent contract with the Giants.

I would say my Leaguemate who spent a 3rd round pick on Mahomes 15pts  is disappointed.
