nobody 2,448 Posted September 9 In regulation, Monty only out carried Gibbs 12-10, but Gibbs out targeted Monty 5-1. In overtime, when Detroit realized they could just run straight up the gut every play and win, Monty out carried Gibbs 5-1 making the total carries 17-11 while Gibbs added a dump off for the lions one pass attempt in OT. I'd suspect it's going to be the hot hand approach, but I'd also anticipate the Lions aren't going to be running half back dives for 6 yards a carry in most games. weepaws 2,989 Posted September 10 Game flow will of course determine who gets the majority of the rushing att between Montgomery and Gibbs, Gibbs will have more touches because of his passing game targets.
