I always pick Colorado. That way it’s a win win. If they win/cover I win, if they lose I still win cuz I can’t stand Deion. That said no way Nebraska covers. Take Colorado +7 .

In the NFL

Cincinatti -8.5 vs NE is a gimme

Dallas +2.5 vs Cleveland is a cinch

Just like last year, Colorado had a ridiculous amount of player turnover. Makes it tough to build chemistry. I don't think much of Nebraska in general (doubt they ever relive their 90's glory days) as recruiting is a problem there. But I lean the home team -6.5 led by second year Matt Rhule who's been quite successful at his previous college stints. They stomped UTEP (yeah, they stink), but Colorado barely survived against North Dak St (an FCS school).

There are no "gimmes" in the National Football League....

College guru I watch (Thor Nystrom) likes Iowa -1 over Iowa St. At least it was -1, couple days ago when he posted. Can't remember all the reasoning, but at the end he said the icing on the cake was two key defensive players for Iowa St were out. Sounded good, so I bet on it. What the hell do I know about Iowa or Iowa St?

I live in Des Moines the spread is -3 and my dad told me long long time ago which ever the way the public is going take the opposite and you'll win ... And for that reason I'm scared

That's why they are still in business haha...  it doesn't happen every time, but more times than not.  As a former gambler, if I recall, the first 3 or 4 weeks, "they" tend to let the public win more than lose... to suck them in for the season haha...

And typically, not always, when it looks too easy or like a gimmie, it's not ;) Think teasers for instance... so Cincy this week could be what... -1 or 2 in teaser? That's like money in the bank haha... and it might be in week 1. All they need is one loss to blow up all those teaser bets... money money money...and they have all the data with the technology... that's why some believe it's fake/rigged like wwe. I mean if it were so "easy", everyone would be still around at the end of the season in their pick em pools ;)

Good luck.

1st game by the Pats without their long time head coach Bill Belichick since 2000. Take New England and the pts and don't be surprised if they win straight up.
