easilyscan Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 Thanks to Chuba Hubbard, Mahomes only has to have a decent night to give me a win this week. Quote
nobody Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 I thought for sure that Drake London TD was going to be OPI. Receivers just don't get that open without a pick usually. But nope, chiefs defense appear to not have realized the game started on that entire first drive. Quote
nobody Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 I don't think he got that first, but spots are almost impossible to overturn. Quote
nobody Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 I'm always concerned about teams that play in Atlanta, Houston, and Miami. The strip club scene is just too good. The chiefs seem like they may have been partaking in the scene last night which is going to be a real bummer for the Falcons when the Chiefs get their IVs at half time and wake up in the second half. nobody Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 The falcons hit Mahomes a split second late on that pick. I'm surprised the chiefs didn't get that call. Quote
cmh6476 Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 If the two linemen are out I think that's trouble for the Atlanta passing game in the second half. Quote

nobody Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 Atlanta finally figured out Steele only runs straight. Quote
nobody Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 Well they gave Steele two shots at the goal line Quote
Law Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 Note to Atlanta - IF you cover Rice, you might win. Quote
cmh6476 Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 You can b1tch about the calls but that was awesome Quote

easilyscan Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 I just got home and was going to say the same thing. Didn't see the game, but as I understand it, the Falcons had 2 chances for short field goals in the last 5 minutes or so, but chose to go for it on 4th down. I might be slightly biased here, as I had Younghoe Koo. Quote

I figured a FG and then a very good chance they get the ball back with some time on the clock. but I get that its the Chiefs, but still. The defense was actually doing a mostly decent job of keeping the Chiefs offense on the sidelines. at some point you gotta trust the D to get it done. if they had scored, they'd still have to trust the D to get it done anyways, so why not take the points and make it a 3 point game? makindollaz Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 I saw a guy lose this weekend in one of the wackiest ways possible. Neither team has anyone going tonight, so the game was decided last night. The Mahomes owner was up 1 point when the Chiefs went into kneel down formation. This league gives 1 point per 10 rushing yards. Mahomes had 30 yards. With the wacky way he was kneeling down, he finished with 17 yards. The Mahomes owner lost 2 points (and the game) from the kneel downs. Quote

BuschWack Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 I was sorta shocked Bijan wasn't targeted more in passing game. 2 targets, 2 Receptions, 21 yards. Admittedly, I did not watch the game, so perhaps the Chiefs were taking that away? Quote

If you are going to have replay, lets change things , any things that are obviously bad. Quote
