Curious what this (if anything) does to the D. Adams trade talks.

Was saints a landing spot for Adams ?

As a Kamara owner I’m nervous when things looked so damn good

Yes, there or the Jets…who fired their coach today.  Adams wants to play with a QB he knows.

Adams would be better off in Buffalo.

And Buffalo would be much better with Adams, that would be a good fit.  Nice

Gotta wonder what this may mean for Hill. I could see more trick plays with him throwing and such while Carr is sidelined.

Hill just hasn’t been able to stay healthy, he started the season beat up.

I think many on this board would have been arrested for a lot things that players in the nfl get away with.

He just got dropped today in one league. Contemplating picking him up for fun.

Might be a good move, Carr is out , if Mr Hill is ready I think he will receive some short yardage work, and possibly some goal line work.

Yeah. I'll see how the week unfolds. I picked up Kraft and dropped Engram last week... not sure I want to drop Kraft or a qb at this point in the super flex league. I'm looking at waiver Tolbert for Wicks or Leggette. Might get Ridley back even though I dropped him two weeks ago 😂

Who's gonna be the backup? Jake or rattler

Looks like Jake is the backup with the ‘Aints announcing Rattler the starter.

I'm keeping Rashid Shaheed in my line up and rolling the dice with Spencer Rattler at QB.

He supposedly had the strongest arm, or close to it, in the draft.

I know Derek Carr has a strong arm, so maybe he can still rocket it down field to Shaheed.

Tough matchup.

Not really, TB ranks 26th against WRs in my league

Bucs have given up more than 216 yards passing in two of its five games , and I don’t think Goff, or Cousins is playing for the Saints, not even Carr.

I’m sitting Rashid for Tolbert. Having a strong arm (Rattler) doesn’t always translate into downfield competitions. You may or may not remember a QB named Joe Gilliam?

I am as well. My league rewards return yards & he has 233 on the year.

My league, a TD play over 40 yds is worth 12 pts and over 50 is 15 pts. Plus we get some for return yards too, not much but it helps.

Not really, but I do remember a QB named Jay Schroeder.

Had a cannon for an arm, and one of the best WR groups in NFL history, but couldn't hit a deep throw to save his life.

This of course led to Doug Williams winning the Super Bowl.

That said, my alternative is to start Chris Olave, who would have to catch a bunch of passes, get a bunch of yards, probably score a TD, just to equal what Shaheed can get from one big play. If Spencer Rattler can launch the ball downfield I figure the chances of him completing one deep pass to Shaheed are better than him having a field day with Olave. I may be wrong though, he could target one WR all game, and that would probably be Olave.

Injuries and Bye week I’m forced to start Olave. Heck, it’s not like Olave and Carr were lighting things up

Heard today that Rattler says he plans to leane heavy on Olave with targets.  But who knows?

Shaheed perpetually questioned. I’ll take 1/80/1 and a return league bump. You give your Big Play Weapon a chance to make big plays.

J. Camarda punted for 47 yards. R. Shaheed returned punt for 54 yard touchdown (B. Grupe made PAT)

Thank You Rashid!

Olave out with dain bramage....

That's unfortunate. Especially since the game is turning into a shoot out. 51 points with a possibility for more before the half.

If you play in a longball league, this guy is invaluable

Rashid Shaheed's 12 career touchdowns, in order:

• 44 yard run

• 53 yard catch

• 68 yard catch

• 19 yard catch

• 76 yard punt return

• 34 yard catch

• 58 yard catch

• 45 yard catch

• 59 yard catch

• 70 yard catch

• 43 yard catch

• 54 yard punt return
