Sheesh.  RFK Jr is such a nutty loon.  There are about 2,100 hog farms in NC.  Smithfield did not drive every hog farmer out of business.  And they’re called confinement buildings, not factories.  What a loon.

I haven't fact checked that one myself. I just know it is a big problem. I don't each much pork any more because of how they are raised. Much larger chance of parasites.

Bear roadkill meat on every menu!

If there is a way to regulate our food better and not allowing corporations to cut corners I am on board with taking a look at that.

This seems like more regulation, however.  I definitely did not consider this part of Trump’s, or the GOP in generals, agenda and I am highly skeptical anything comes of this but will look forward to updates.

Having been to many, many hog and chicken operations, it is hard for me to eat either.  Chicken houses are awful.  And pig manure builds up really fast and is a disgusting substance.  Eggs are easier for me because layer houses are better kept.  Nonetheless, chicken is the meat I eat the most.

You should always handle raw chicken with the assumption that it is contaminated.

ETA:  I believe on average pork is technically the less contaminated of the two (chicken and pork).  My statement above about having a hard time eating it after being to so many farms is just due to the disgusting experience of walking around in 3” of the nastiest manure ever.  I’m telling ya, they’re nasty.

I would argue his purpose was to get an endorsement. Trump promised him whatever he wanted to get that. 

In any case actually doing anything in this regard would go against corporate interests. Going against corporate interests involves bureaucracy at some point to regulate. Perhaps replacing everyone is the way to go. This seems like a trainwreck but I wish him luck. I think nothing will ultimately come of this but yeah it does seem the food we get here is all kinds of focked up.

Gee, ya think? Half of the foods on our shelves are banned in almost every other country because of what's in it. How is this bad for anyone?

I asked this in another thread. Do you recall what happened when Michelle Obama talked about getting kids to eat vegetables or whatever. I recall many people melting down about the nanny state. This is like that on steroids (maybe the ones RFK is taking 😂).

Maybe this will be different and again I do wish anything that makes people healthier gets promoted.

We just got done a Biden/Harris TRAINWRECK of a Presidency, which you voted for. If they do anything it's more than Biden or Harris did in 4 years. 😂

Hopefully there's about to be a lot of redundant, needless, overpaid,  government slackers eliminated from the bloated bureaucracy that just continues to grow to serve itself and it's own existence. 

I'm optimistic.

I drove past a large chicken farm once and nearly puked

 Of all the terrible smells in the world, chicken crap has got to be up there as one of the worst.

I may have to create a new Liberal Doctrine model.

The old one likely wont work anymore.

Not sure just how it might line up, but I surmise that step one will likely be correlating anything.....just anything Trump or his team does.....to "being a dictator".

SO, with that in mind I think we sit back and wait for the "full retahds" to start spinning stuff into that designation.....

Former crack gear too. Now in charge of the FDA, CDC, NIH etc. He has no qualifications, it’s just payback for his support.

Try going inside one after there’s been a fire and you have that smell combined with smoke, plus maybe dead chickens lying around.  Blech.
