Chiefs @ Bills

Recommended Posts

I get this isn't a primetime matchup, but it feels big enough (at least in my opinion) to be deserving of its own thread  :)

was hopeful some of you may feel the same.

  • Spread: Bills (-2.5)
  • Moneyline: Bills (-135); Chiefs (+115)
  • Over/under: 45.5

Quote

The third time wasn't a charm for Josh Allen.

The Buffalo Bills quarterback has been knocked out of the playoffs three times by counterpart Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs, including 27-24 in the AFC Divisional Round on Jan. 21, 2024.

The duels between the superstars has already included "13 seconds," the Kadarius Toney offsides and "wildest f---ing call I've ever seen," and a wide right in the final minutes.

Here's what to know about the Allen-Mahomes rivalry that's becoming the NFL's best since Tom Brady-Peyton Manning.

What is Josh Allen's record against Patrick Mahomes?

Josh Allen is 3-4 against Patrick Mahomes, including the postseason. Allen is 3-1 head-to-head in the regular season but 0-3 versus Mahomes in the playoffs.

I know there are other solid games this week, but this could be a preview of the AFC Championship and could establish a tremendous edge for who will end up with the #1 seed and the bye in the AFC.

Go Chiefs! :headbanger:

Sunday's weather: high of 56, low of 50; 8% chance of rain, with SSW winds at 9MPH.  PERFECT!!

I'm still in shock we won last week. But winning ugly is still winning. That being said I do NOT want the Chiefs going undefeated - the offense needs a wakeup call and I think we'll get it this week. Sadly predicting a 23-20 Bills win.

I think everyone knows how important this game is, though.   Denver and Carolina next week... not so much.

I need a defense on one of my ff teams, so I picked up the Bills.

I think that’s a smart move, I don’t have many choices, so I’m going to try Buffalo.  14 team league, and some owners have decided to for go depth at rb/wr , and are rostering two def.

The NFL has clearly scripted KC to go undefeated this year only to lose to the Lions in the SB.

the chiefs have won every game the crew that is reffing this game have worked. While the bills are the better team the chiefs are going to win. Likely on a subjective call/noncall that helps the chiefs.

Love the hype this game is getting in pregame shows (as it should)

Yes this game has totally overshadowed another huge matchup today, the Ravens versus the Steelers.  Have heard hardly any talk about that game this week (and I live in Ohio, which is basically Steeler country lol).

I'm excited to watch that one as well today.  Pulling for the Ravens (which feels icky) because if that happens and the Chiefs win, you've essentially locked up the #1 seed for the Chiefs.

That's probably why either the Bills and/or the Steelers win today.  Keeps the drama rolling regarding seeding lol.

Of course Bass misses the PAT.  What are the odds that factors into the final score?
