Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Recommended Posts

Not to get it started too early but I'm heading out for a few days to spend time with friends and family and none of that includes time for political discourse. So whatever you believe politically, whatever you rooted for, and despite how much of the next 5 days you spend on here arguing with others about the same things....

very genuinely- may you and your families have a very happy and safe Thanksgiving. Enjoy the football and food comas.

Well said. Likewise. Good to remember that we are all Americans, and on the same side, even if we argue about everything.

And since I am on call for the holiday and cannot attend my normal festivities as a result, I might very well be here on Thanksgiving, continuing to argue. Or I'll skip it and enjoy watching football in an empty, quiet house.

I'm in Operations, not HR, but Hiring Manager is one of my duties. The on call is just a managerial resource for staff that have to be on site working. I only have to go in to work if shlt truly hits the fan. I mostly just log and communicate absences and authorize people going home early. It's usually not a big deal, and this is my last holiday until 2027, so I'll suck it up and make the best of it.

I miss Thanksgivings gone by where I spent the week in Phoenix and Mesa visiting family that's all moved or died. Best time of year to be in the Valley.

Well Happy Thanksgiving.  The smoker is now rolling along with our turkey and two more for the Rescue Mission.  The kitchen is currently crowded with bags full of the 6 dozen turkey and cheese sandwiches we will be taking to the church in a few hours.  The pies are made along wiht the corn bread.  It is the calm before the storm.  The christmas lights are mostly up, I'll do a few more today before the games start.  Looking forward to settling in.  This year i don't have to drive the smoked turkeys to the Mission as a neighbor is going to take them down.  That saves two hours, which is nice.

Go Pack indeed.  I am a bit worried we are thin at linebacker right now and that we don't have our full compliment of corners going against Miami's dynamic recievers, but we ought to be able to defend Lambeau.  Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours as well.

Just got off from firehouse this morning.  We did a redneck Thanksgiving yesterday at work with venison, squirrel, rockfish, and oysters.  Today at home it’s full tilt with fried turkey and all the regular stuff.

Antelope backstrap and pheasant for lunch, traditional turkey and fixin's for dinner.  No squirrel.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Had to teach my wife how to do it right, we'll see how that goes. Last Thanksgiving was in Michigan with my mom, sister, aunt, and cousin to help. In Florida though we don't have extended family to lean on.

Looking forward to the Lions game. :)

I can't wait for the stuffing. It makes the entire meal. Happy Thanksgiving. Trump winning makes it even better.

Donald J. Trump

@realDonaldTrump

Happy Thanksgiving to all, including to the Radical Left Lunatics who have worked so hard to destroy our Country, but who have miserably failed, and will always fail, because their ideas and policies are so hopelessly bad that the great people of our Nation just gave a landslide victory to those who want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! Don’t worry, our Country will soon be respected, productive, fair, and strong, and you will be, more than ever before, proud to be an American!
