Death 273 Posted December 6, 2024 The Beatles are the G.O.A.T. That said, I listen to Stones albums all the time but rarely the Beatles. The Beatles had single songs that created entire genres. There will never be anything like them again. They had the most influence on music in our history. I didn't appreciate them until I read a biography of them and listened to the albums chronologically as I reached their creation in the book. The creativity was off the chain. But I like the Stones music a lot more. Their latest album ranks right up there with "Sticky Fingers," "Exile on Main Street" and "Let It Bleed." It's that good. Hardcore troubadour 14,363 Posted December 6, 2024 Here Comes The Sun is the best Beatles song.
Hardcore troubadour 14,363 Posted December 6, 2024 I Saw Her Standing There is the Beatles best pop song. Revolution is their best rock song, with Back In The USSR right behind it. I don’t like the psychedelic stuff but Day In The Life is good.

GobbleDog 919 Posted December 6, 2024 Forced to listen to a greatest hits album every day the rest of my life.... Beatles - I Want to Hold Your Hand, Twist & Shout, Hard Day's Night, 8 Days a Week, etc. Stones - Start Me Up, Beast of Burden, Miss You, Waiting on a Friend, Brown Sugar, etc. Yeah, I'm going Stones. Those oldies by the Beetles would get tiresome day 1.
