I work in healthcare finance and my system is still cool with those of use who are "non-critical" to WFH as long as we're productive.  We've done a good job so far and with it really only being finance and IT who WFH, every meeting I'm in is a zoom or teams where even the folks on site still take the meetings from their offices.

I can easily prove that lower gas prices haven't brought down the prices of groceries.

My girlfriend's best friend is this Turkish lady that worked here for a while and they worked together. The lady ultimately moved back to Turkey and later asked if she would go be her maid of honor at her wedding and invited me to go along. I met this lady before and we have hung out but I don't like her personality in the least. And my girlfriend agrees that my opinions are pretty spot on but they do get along. It's just all girl talk and such and about that lady always has drama in her life. So my gf asked if I wanted to go, I told her, "Are you kidding me? What do you think it would be like for me,  if I went and had to hang out with her the whole trip? You two are friends, I get it but....". And she said, "Yeah, I get your point." And we had a good laugh and she went to Turkey and had funny ass stories about how dramatic the whole trip was and a it was a smart idea I didn't go. "Cause you would have hated the ordeal from start to finish."

That's how my gf and I work out everything we do together. We specifically do things for both of us when we go out together or simply on trips. But she doesn't try to force me to hang out with her weird ass family and I wouldn't try to force her to do something I know she wouldn't like.

It's called respect for each other.

Simple.  Green Energy is meaningless if China doesn't REDUCE NET carbon output each year. They aren't. 

Doesn't matter what the US does. Doesn't matter what the rest of the world does.  

China keeps putting out more carbon each year by a long shot despite any "green energy" they make.

We're talking about technology, investment, jobs.  The US is a position to lead the world in Green energy thanks to Biden.  With Trump stopping everything, the jobs will go to other countries.  They will make the technological advancements the world needs.  They will take the jobs. They will make the money.  China is in the driver's seat here.

We dropped out of the Paris accords and we reject climate change and the green new scam now.
