Sean Mooney Posted May 4 Posted May 4 I know it's fun to point out Trump's plummeting approval ratings...but the general Democrat ratings aren't great either. It is one reason I'd be cautious about an overwhelming blue wave in November. The numbers seem to imply some form of "We hate that guy....but we hate your party." So it looks like if it were someone else leading the GOP there might be more favorability towards them. Now- all of that can change if the Democrats can find a candidate that people can rally behind and who has a popular economic message- but the Democrats have not shown an ability to do that for over a decade now so the jury is still way out. You don’t need to be cautious about the blue tsunami that’s coming. It’s going to be record breaking and overwhelming. The public doesn’t like the Democratic Party much at all. But we have a two party system. Right now the Dems are the alternative to Trump. Gas prices in November are almost certainly going to be at the very least as high as they are now, very likely even higher. Same with all costs. It’s going to be a wipeout. 1 1 Quote
