If we're hellbent on comparing the Chiefs to the pats, the real difference for this game was that the pats played thuney at LG where the Chiefs tried to play him at tackle and it didn't work.

There is also something to be said for how both the Chiefs and pats managed to use free agency and draft late well to stay relevant year after year.   Picking 28-32 year after year and still wining year after year isn't easy. 

 

Just as trying to fix the line issues with the late pick and lack of options in free agency next year went be either.

Thuney, Humphrey, and Smith on the interior were never the problem.   Moving thuney to the outside where he was undersized and then the downgrade as a result at LG has been.  Now Smith is a free agent and there is a lot to figure out heading into next year.

Your definition of running a mouf must be different than mine.   I'm a realist but I also know more about the Chiefs than anyone else here and has been the case for 25 years :dunno:

I guess when you talk about your team when they happen to be winning you're running your mouth :bench:
