He was pardoned for any Federal crimes, not State.

Also, I would expect the Trump admin to challenge the validity of "preemptive pardons" with SCOTUS.  I, personally, don't think you can pardon someone for crimes not yet committed.  I would think pardons would only be for past crimes you've already been charged and convicted for.

It is, as he was going to be prosecuted in a show trial taken for no reason outside of payback and vindictiveness.

Democrats probably were right to fear that the Republicans would return their own legal abuses back on to them.  I get that.  But I think there is potentially more to it where Faucci comes into play.  He is a repugnant creature.
