Can't believe we don't have a thread on this already.  Tonight Trump is giving his speech to a joint session of Congress.  Should be fun!!!!  Not sure I'll watch lol.

Democrats are still game planning whether they either don't show up to their jobs or just choose to boo the whole speech. If they consult Pelosi she will tell them all to coordinate their clothing colors and bring lots of pre-torn papers to rip up dramatically.

Now that's what truly skilled, highly paid politicians do. AmIRight?

Democrats in Congress are plotting to throw eggs at President Trump during his Congressional address tonight, per Axios.

They've talked about a lot of things, but I don't think they will do this. I expect lots of walkouts and perhaps some boos.

It's going to be a shitshow one way or another.

In the audience will be someone who was injured by a trans woman during a sporting event, so you clowns will get your tranny fix tonight and have other feather in your obsession cap.

Someones who didn’t play HS sports. I was on the track team. The girls’ times/ distances / whatever didn’t come close to ours. Your job was to cheer them on and not think once, let alone twice, about competing against them. Anyone who ever participated knows that a halfway decent (and unethical) male could become state champ by putting on lipstick.

Trump will just be exploiting an extremely rare and isolated incident to ring maximum drama out of it and make it look like a bigger, more widespread problem than it actually is.

I don't think those born biological males should be competing with biological females, but we got bigger issues to address right now.

Some of their more juvenile members may act up, but it's not like you can't invite even the most toxic of them. Its a speech to a joint session of Congress and Dems make up just under half the seats in both chambers... including the usual suspects.

It’s not a formal State of the Union speech.  Trump can invite anyone he wants.  Leave the kids at home and let the adults talk about the issues.

My guess is that Trump probably wants them to act like idiots. His superpower is breaking people.

Didn't we have a time traveler here one time? Said a chicken flu would wipe out society? And a nation not the US would be the world power? I don't shy away from leaning conservative.   But this feels like the night leading to that time travelers prognosis.

As I recall, cmh worked for Ike Skelton, who was a GOP rep from western Missouri in the 1990s and 2000s. I can't way what twists and turns he's taken since then.

He has NOT been conservative for the last few years at least. Beats me about anything before that. But I do know he has used his political interests to try to convince others that he is conservative. I'm calling him a RINO at the very least.
