Gas, eggs and overall grocery prices have dropped.  I'm not sure where Trump is getting his drastic numbers from though.  It hasn't been that significant, although, eggs dropped $5 since the beginning of March.

But grocery prices are not down or going down.

Average March 2025 grocery prices were up about 0.49% from February 2025. That was the highest month-to-month grocery inflation rate since October 2022.

The chart I just looked at showed just about everything dropping in price from March till now.  It's not a very large drop but still a decrease.

Trump said today gas hit $1.98 in 3 states.

Lie.

There could be three stations in the United States with gas under $2...

I know that isn't what he meant, but there just "might" be...  Maybe?

:dunno:

Where do you live that in store egg prices are down 5 dollars since March? Or are you just talking wholesale prices?

So I did some digging. On January 2nd the price of a dozen eggs at wholesale was 5.81. In March of 2025 they reached an all time high price of 8.17. They are now at 3.16. That is the lowest the price has been since October.

Yeah. Prices are lower. So what are you whining about now?

Trump's Gas Price Claim vs. Reality: A Fact-Check

Last updated 19 minutes ago
Former President Donald Trump claimed on social media that gasoline prices have dropped to $1.98 per gallon in the USA, leading to widespread reactions and fact-checking. However, national and state averages reported by reliable sources indicate that gas prices are significantly higher, with the national average being around $3.18 per gallon. This discrepancy has sparked a debate on social media about the accuracy of Trump's claim, with many users questioning where such low prices could be found and others defending or attacking Trump's statement.

Trump is the 2nd oldest president in US history, right. This is just one example but this thread is filled with examples that certainly seem to be someone who has dementia or who was just emotionally and mentally unstable to begin with.

Why can't you talk about your personal experience at the store? I shop groceries, and they are way down.

You all screech about egg prices being $8.99 a dozen. I paid $2.99 the other day at a local grocery store

What else you want to whine about?

But I am sorry you are broke. Go get a job.

Here we go with your nonsense again. Tariffs are so bad. Except when every other country puts tariffs on the us you think they are amazing.  Retard

Nations have tariffs, & with the US they’re almost all done through preexisting trade agreements. Some are free trade agreements where the tariffs are near zero. The UK trade deal was already like that, yet the US broke it anyway. The US broke all its trade agreements at once.

Aside from that it doesn’t change the fact tariffs are just taxes, ad valorum or value added taxes or VATs. At some point the tax becomes more costly than the profit margin, you can imagine that doesn’t take much in some instances. In fact it was tariffs on tea & textiles that led to the Revolutionary War, it’s why we rebelled against England in the first place. Go look at the Declaration of Independence, you’ll see it there.

And when taxes get onerous they act like sanctions. And sanctions are great when a Russia or Iran or Venezuela or North Korea are the issue & the whole world joins you. But when you step out alone & break all your contracts at once saying crazy shyte as the basis then all that happens is everyone stops trading with you, they trade with each other, & *you’re the one sanctioned. The really fun part is they use our systems & institutions for global trade to do so

oh you forgot the part where I know exactly what Tariffs are, and (trust me I know youre not one of the normal retards here) but I really don't care, buy American, I have been that way my whole life.

my whole point is we will get libtards like squishy and real tim in here crying for days about it, yet they support the insane day to day taxes of states like California.  That affects people WAY more than my tariffs on chinese junk

I am against all taxes except sales, and believe all countries should pay 20% tariffs to import items to our country.  At that point EVERY person has a choice to not pay tariffs on quite frankly crap you don't need.  Sure you need your iphone, but use it til its dead, buy a used honda (guess what no tariff), the list can go on and on

and its such a simple system that every liberal worth a damn in the 90's and 00's agreed with these principles

This claim isn't new.  Trump revealed this waste in an address to congress back in March.

FACT: Under the Biden Administration, the National Institutes of Health doled out millions of dollars in taxpayer-funded grants for institutions across the country to perform transgender experiments on mice.

  • $455,000: “A Mouse Model to Test the Effects of Gender-affirming Hormone Therapy on HIV Vaccine-induced Immune Responses”
  • $2,500,000: “Reproductive Consequences of Steroid Hormone Administration”
    • “These mice manifest defects in ovarian architecture and have altered folliculogenesis.”
  • $299,940: “Gender-Affirming Testosterone Therapy on Breast Cancer Risk and Treatment Outcomes”
    • “We will compare the incidences and tumor specific survival in female mice (intact) and oophorectomized female mice receiving TT with their respective counterparts that do not receive TT.”
  • $735,113: “Microbiome mediated effects of gender affirming hormone therapy in mice”
  • $1,200,000: “Androgen effects on the reproductive neuroendocrine axis”
    • “Aim 2 utilizes transgenic mice to test whether male-level androgens acting via AR specifically in kisspeptin neurons are necessary and/or sufficient for androgen inhibition of in vivo LH pulse parameters, including pulse frequency, and the estrogen-induced LH surge.”
  • $3,100,000: “Gonadal hormones as mediators of sex and gender influences in asthma”
    • “We will study the contributions of estrogens to HDM-induced asthma outcomes using male and female gonadectomized mice treated with estradiol…”

TOTAL: $8,290,053
