NEW: 17-year-old 4.0 student stabbed in the heart at a high school track event in Frisco, Texas, dies in his twin brother’s arms. Horrifying. Austin Metcalf was attacked after telling a teen from a different school that he was sitting in the wrong spot. Karmelo Anthony has been been arrested and charged with first-degree murder. Just days ago, Metcalf shared a post on X where he said, "Faith that God got me and my work will pay off." "There was a confrontation that was started when the suspect was told he was sitting in the wrong spot," NBC 5 reported. Metcalf reportedly didn't know the teen who stabbed him. "They were twins, identical twins, and his brother was holding on to him, trying to make it stop bleeding, and he died in his brother's arms," Jeff Metcalf, the father, said. "I rushed up there and I saw him on the gurney and I could tell... they said he wasn't breathing. I could see all the blood, and I saw where the wound was, and I was very concerned, so I had to find his brother, and we rushed to the hospital." Austin Metcalf had a 4.0 GPA and was the MVP of his football team. He was getting ready to go to college.

I suggest leaving the country and going back to your place of origin: Europe. Oh wait! You can't escape them, they're everywhere now. I wonder how that happened and why?

My families been here since the 1600s, I’m not an immigrant. Your people are the anchor of America.

Well my family's been here before your immigrant family as I have Native American, African and European blood, so I'm not going anywhere.

My family is white trash chased out of Germany and Ireland, respectively, four and five generations ago.  We are relatively new to this experiment.  1859 is the earliest one of my ancestors set foot on this continent.  Most not until the 1890's.

I don't care about your ancestry. I just don't think anyone needs to tell anyone how to live or to make generalizations based on their ancestry or skin color.

You make generalizations all the time you just don’t like when they are pointed out against your own race

You know what there won't be riots? Because the murderer was arrested and likely going straight to court and jail. No one is going to claim he was innocent, no one is going to bail him out, no one is going to try to prove his victim deserved to die by saying he shouldn't have told his murderer where or where not to sit...
You see how that works? When justice is applied correctly, there are no riots.

Was the victim a criminal?  Was he doing something really stupid that led to his death?  Was his death justified?

There are some very HUGE differences.

I'm sorry to say but murders and violence amongst youths are pretty common in this country.

That's true.  The difference in how different cultures respond to that violence is quite different though.

No

Perhaps- have you met high school kids?

Most assuredly not.

I'm going to take a strong guess the kid who was stabbed did more than just ask him to move. I will however, not say that whatever he said justified a stabbing.

Have I met high school kids?  I have one and my wife is a teacher and coach.  Yes, I have met high school kids. 🙄

Yeah, like murder a classmate.

I mean it's happened- often....

I still would venture a guess there was more said than "Hey can you please move."

Still I'd say too there are a lot of failures along the way to things like this happening.

Of course there was more to it than just that.  That's just common sense.  Very unlikely it was something that deserved being stabbed though.  The kid brought a knife with him.

And the knife got through a lot of different checkpoints.

I don't know if anything would rise to the level of justifying being stabbed.

Derek Chauvin was arrested and charged within days of George Floyd overdosing. The riots went on for months until they started hurting democrats in the polls. You got a short memory.

Not Tyla.  She is a grand daughter from my first wife actually.  Reminds me a lot of her Mom, my first wife, though she is the daughter of a daughter my first had when we first met.  No direct blood to me though she calls me Opa.

Incorrect. there wont be riots because we are not stupid enough to riot over this.....and its really that simple

Deflection @ its finest. Look away from the perp & find someone/something else to blame.

Strawman at its finest from you.

To be clear-

- throw the full force of the law at the kid who stabbed the poor young man. Society should have no place for that BS he committed.

- Also, question the schools and facilities to figure out how this snuck through and work to not let it happen again

Knife shouldn’t have made it unto school grounds, no defection, just good reasoning.
