I'm interested in what Psychic Investing calls a "diversified estate" if you're willing to share. What else besides 100% cash in your 401k?

High net worth individuals have more than just a 401k.  Real Estate, brokerage accounts, crypto wallets, IRAs, pensions, annuities, physical assets like metals.  There may be more.

Yes this was reported last week.  It's happening.  Walmart CEO told Trump shelves are thinning out.

Yeah. All my investments are way up. I'm loving this "recession".

My company provided me with a financial advisor for many years before I retired. I decided not to use them when I did retired because they started pushing their product, they all have one, when they knew I was going to leave the company.  Plus if you'd read the book I suggested you'd learn a couple things:

1 -  A financial firm and their suite of managed funds do NOT beat regular index funds 80% of the time. And the ones that beat it last year won't beat it this year, historically.  Your chances of teaming up with the next Warren Buffet is very very very unlikely.

2 - The one thing you have absolute full control of is expenses.  It's not worth paying 0.5 to 1.5% off the top to a firm that is highly unlikely to beat say the S&P Index.  Your best friend is low cost index mutual funds or etfs.  Fidelity actually has a set of ZERO cost mutual funds (they did that in order to compete with Vanguard, the invenors of the low cost index funds).

I have all my retirement accounts at Fidelity and my banking, brokerage and IRA accounts are at Bank of America where I am a Diamond Plus member.

When I had a free financial advisor they were helpful reviewing my stuff, telling me if my interpretation of the rules were correct or not and fixing tax problems. My advise is they might be worth a set fee to do that kind of stuff for you, but, not to do the actual investing at a percentage.  Just read the book and follow the blueprint.  I would have kept my guy on for a few thousand a year, but, I didn't want the sales pitch from him every time we met.

Hope that helps.

Percentages please.  Useless to see if you're well diversified without percentages.  Wasn't looking for a list of possible investments.  Do you need an example?

That's not a portfolio. That's some investing advise.  .

I'll post my portfolio if you want. I dont care.  I'm just trying to get out of you what you think a "diversified estate" is.  So far you don't seem to understand the ask.

You're also mixing together investments and investment vehicles.

Real Estate and crypto are investments.

IRAs and brokerage accounts are investment vehicles where you might own real estate or crypto.

I am interested in what other vehicles you own since you were completely lost with using Roth accounts, but, let's keep it simple.  Just post your asset allocation that make you a "diversified estate" because owning different vehicles doesn't make you diversified.

How is chatgpt supposed to know YOUR asset allocation?  😂

Explains a lot of your dumbass posts though.

You embarrassed gutter pretty bad in this thread but, he said he's out, please don't antagonize him. Him being 'out' is a massive dub for everybody here.

Oil continues to tank, down to 56 now.

That continues to bring the price of gas down, not sub $2 like trump lies about, but he'll certainly say this is a win.

Problem is at this price point new drilling isn't profitable.  Offshore in this range gets close.

Several factors go into this, a big one being lower forecast for demand.  Recession.

Cool. Now what are you going to do? Keep whining on the internet about your fears?

Don't you have any family to cry to?

I want a strong economy, prosperity, etc.  oil prices are generally higher during times of prosperity but I'm not rooting for any oil prices.

MAGAs don't understand the balance between fair pump prices and a healthy oil-and-gas industry.

I don't mind paying $3 a gallon with oil at $80 a barrel and the oil-patch humming along.

Aren’t we all MAGAs?  I mean, who doesn't want America to be great?

Possible but unlikely as that would be a self own by Trump.  More likely is that he told SA to increase production since he has personal connections there to bring down the price of gas which is important to him.

Trump: WE'RE GONNA DRILL BABY DRILL!@#$%

SA: No you're not.  It's not profitable to start new wells with oil under $60.  Watch what we do.

*Oil drops under $60.  No new wells.  Drill baby drill put on hold*

Trump: WINNING!@#$

Now you get it. But the  resulting lower gas prices are a self own? You’re funny.
