ABC EXCLUSIVE: President Trump is poised to accept a luxury jet as a gift from Qatar.

It’s to be used as Air Force One and then transferred to the Trump library by January 2029. Perhaps the biggest foreign gift ever.

DOJ insists it’s legal, not bribery, not violation of emoluments clause. w/ @KFaulders

Donald Trump should turn the 747 over to the State Department. That's the proper way to handle gifts over $500. Trump needs to read the emoluments clause of the United States Constitution.

Article I, Section 9, Clause 8:

No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.

Just look at how much energy was spent into lying about creepy joe's mental make up. They had to put a watchdog in a bunny costume to keep him from talking to people on Easter for God's sake.

President Donald Trump is so desperate for a new Air Force One jet that he asked a Florida-based company to overhaul a plane once used by the Qatari government.

 

 

The moves comes amid years-long delays in the provision of two replacements for the aging presidential planes that the president commissioned during his last time in office. 

After becoming frustrated at Boeing's apparently inability to deliver the order Trump wants L3Harris, a defense contractor, to transform the luxury aircraft previously used by Qatar by the fall, The Wall Street Journal reported.
