The issue I see is the targeted marginalization (to put it nicely) of LGBTQ by this admin. Every authoritarian needs to have "the enemy from within" to gin up anger. Trump sees a lot of enemies from within, and has shown that his rhetoric causes violence. Any group or individual he targets will eventually be targeted by some of his sycophants, in some cases violently. That is a feature, not a bug.

No, it's not "totally normal" but that type of relationship is not considered particularly unusual or raises eyebrows in the gay community.

Some younger gay men in their teens (of legal consent age) and 20s are looking for a relationship with an older man, a "father figure" type for lack of a better term (I don't understand the psychology involved, perhaps it is due to often having a poor relationship with their own father).

#2.  Saying that young teens want older men doesn't make this better.  Its the responsibility of the older men to say no.   And that's always been the case.  Your defense reads like..."Well the kids want it so why should an older, hopefully more wise man turn that down"

#3.  Saying it doesn't raise eyebrows in the gay community for a 30 something man to have sex with a 17 year old boy really says a lot about how disturbing that community you defend is.

The problem is that Trump (unlike other Presidents going back to Clinton) has never issued any official proclamations recognizing Pride Month (not during his first term as POTUS and not for 2025). So he can't really take away or eliminate something that he hasn't acknowledged ever existed. And if even if he did, Pride Parades and events would still be celebrated in the same towns and cities they have been for decades (nothing would really change).
