What we’re “winning” is public opinion. The vast majority of the public now believes that ICE is in the wrong, behaving like Gestapo thugs in these situations. If that continues hopefully these awful deportations will stop.

Saagar Enjeti (a conservative) told an interesting story on Breaking Points today.  Forget the exact wording but he said someone told him in 2016 that Trump getting elected would be the worst thing to happen for people who have stopping illegal immigration as a top priority, because Trump would go “full retard” and cause normal people to turn against his policies.  Took until the second term, but that might be what’s happening.

Is there a longer video of the pot farm raid?  I am curious if there is any truth to the claims that the protesters were being peaceful prior to being tear-gassed.

Here you can see protesters being peaceful and an intercom can be heard saying “please make a path for emergency vehicles or chemical munitions will be deployed.”

So that’s probably what caused the teargas to be used initially.  I know blocking roads is illegal, but does that give law enforcement legal right to teargas them?  @Engorgeous George?

Right now the Republicans are winning when it comes to public opinion on the administrations efforts toward immigration.

But, as I always maintain, we should consider multiple sources.  And while outlets such as MSDNC purposely rig polling to swing opinion, we can still find value in what they manufacture.

So, rather than rely on one or two sources, we have to consume as many as possible.  The MSDNC's and CNN's will develop questions to move respondents toward providing feedback which feeds their bias, Fox will do the same.  

So far the Democrats have worked tirelessly to misrepresent the enforcement of our laws as some violation, when in reality their refusal to administer those laws was the actual violation. JMHO....given their effort the results are not all that great.

Both links you posted referred to the same source: a Gallup poll which stated only 30% wanted reduced immigration.
