From a best ball standpoint, great turn for Wonder with Fields and. Purdy. They should complement each other well with Fields offering up a few big games while Purdy’s high floor fills in the gaps.

Thanks

As soon as Nix went, this was my plan. Was not originally going to be Purdy but he is one of the ones I can envision myself pairing with Fields. Also as much as the no hassle format does creep into my mind from time to time when making choices, this is the exact strategy I plan to deploy in my normal redraft leagues if I don't land Nix.

Home stretch…

I know, lol

The last guy picked is somebody I've never heard of, must be a rookie 😆

I seriously thought about grabbing Fields with my last pick. You can't ask for a better BB backup QB.

I'll +1 great QB turn for WW. Purdy was solid even in a down season last year. If the 9ers bounce back, so should he. Fields should be a good BB QB, and gives explosiveness to Purdy's consistency.

I had a few guys that I was interested in at this point, but Mooney was the one that I really did not want to miss out on. I think that he is going to have a breakout season this year and far outpace his draft position.

I will be out of pocket for most of the day as I need to go see my father for a late Father's Day (He's in assisted living in a different town). Will still be able to check in regularly, but rosters and position lists will not be updated as frequently, if at all, until I return.

I may have taken him a bit early but I wanted to have Loveland on my team.  I'm interested in how the Bears are going to use him.

Not too early for my liking, perfect spot to take him as his upside is great and the coaching staff loves him. Iowa product too.

Safe travels for you Fumble. Family first….don't even think about this Mock until after you see and love your father.

Pearsall-I couldn't type in his name fast enough as my 11th round, #5 WR selection! His production at the end of last year was awesome and his injuries supposedly are behind him. With Aiyuk probably on IR to begin the season, go Ricky go. He was like around #80-#84 on many lists, and I got him at #130.

I like the Pearsall pick, I think he's going to have a good year.  A full offseason is really going to help.

I was watching him fall, hoping he might reach me, disappointed that someone finally took him  :(

RLLD: 2 great picks (again) here at the turn. Both were on my list as we move into the important "late stage" of the draft.

Thanks, I was teetering between two strategies for the remaining stretch, I hope this tilt works this year 😬

Sorry, was doing the weekly shopping. Was able to drop in and do my first pick because I knew for sure who I wanted.

McCarthy: Call it a homer pick, maybe it's a reach. I prefer grabbing a QB2 with upside, and JJ has it. Great weapons, nice OTs, a revamped interior O-line, and a QB friendly HC. I don't know he'll match Darnold's stats last year, but he's being given every opportunity.

Johnston: Had a nice bounce back after a horrible rookie season. Considered 2 other WRs, but decided to spread out my investments.

Wanted Penix as my second QB, but Worm saw to it that wasn't going to happen. I like Tua as a second QB...if he can stay healthy again this year. There is one more QB I strongly considered here that I like, but won't mention him yet.

Goedert: Never been a big TD guy, but if healthy he's got fair upside yardage wise. Was hoping for Ferguson, but he got sniped.

Some pretty good value at the TE position here. Deeper group than usual, it would appear.

I'd say there's 5, maybe 7 guys I'd target as a TE1. Then more than a dozen that you can just wait on and grab 1 or 2 and hope for the best.

Basically true. I am probably one of the few people left that think Dalton Kincaid can make the leap forward into the top-8 this year. Probably now or never for him in that regard.

Remember...I am available for lists today and tomorrow as needed. Would love to be able to finish this thing by Wednesday afternoon. Not sure we'll hit that, but it is possible.

The Bill media is saying that they expect a BIG year from Kincaid. He was a guy that I was looking at when I took Freirmuth.

You and Rob have my cell if you could send me a text please. Fishing a tournament tonight, but can pick from my phone.

Four different times I have been on the clock once I got back to my office from lunch.  Some how picks get made while I'm gone for lunch a lot.

I've had this happen a couple of times, but that's because I drive.

Today, I was actually near a computer most of the day. I went on the clock the first time the first time that I was away from the computer for any length of time.

Fortunately, I got Fumble's text.  :)

This one's been rough for me as well. I'm normally available 95% of the day, except for around 5pm. And sure enough, almost every one of our turns has been around 5pm or later. You watch, you and I will be ending this draft tonight at the same time...lol.

I was half-expecting WhiteWonder to wait deliberately until 9:00 to make his picks this morning.

For best ball purposes, Ekeler is a sneaky good pick. Low ceiling, but high floor in terms of weekly production can really make a difference some weeks.
