I’m not sticking around today, it’s a holiday here, but I’ll take a moment to point out that the State of Minnesota prison system was already cooperating before the ICE arrival, as was the MSP PD jail system, to hand over criminals. When ICE claims they’ve arrested x number of actual criminals remember that a good chunk of them were already apprehended by local PDs & sheriff’s offices across the state. While I’m happy for the agreements you reference my guess is they’re completely unnecessary.
