So do you go on Twitter?

Rarely.  I will click on a link if it's in another story referencing the post/video as in this case, if it's interesting to me.  I NEVER go directly to X/Twitter.  Quit asking.

No comment about the bumbling, lying, Governor of Minnesota, eh?  🤣

I don’t think he’s very bright.  But I also don’t think he’s a liar or that the fraud is his fault.

Jordan accusing people of lying though is rich considering he lied about knowing about sexual abuse at Ohio State. Here’s an extended clip of this exchange, at the end Jordan brings up some fraud investigator who supposedly said “there was a perception that forcefully tackling this issue might cause political backlash among the Somali community,” not naming Walz at all but when Walz disagreed with that then Jordan accused Walz of saying the guy was lying when he was only stating his opinion which is extremely dishonest.  Keep in mind Biden’s FBI first announced charges in the case in September 2022 - just 2 months before an election that Walz was running in.  So if they were supposedly avoiding the investigation for political reasons they did a pretty bad job of that.

Jordan literally had the receipts.  Are you suggesting the Minnesota courts are liars?

After doing some research, yes that appears to be the case.  Since I prefer primary sources, here is the original transcript from the hearing that the Minnesota Department of Education interpreted as being told they needed to resume the payments:

https://kstp.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/2021.04.21-Hearing-Transcript.pdf

On pages 45-64, there are various highlighted sections, backing up this interpretation.  For example, one such line on page 64 from the judge says “you’ve got a real problem not reimbursing at this stage of the game.”

The judge is playing word games (like you like to do) by saying he didn’t issue a formal order for it, but he seemed pretty clear in that’s what he said they should do based on the law.

Strike (and Jim Jordan) wrong again.

MINNESOTA DICTATOR WALZ SUPPORTS AND PROTECTS ILLEGAL ALIENS, AS DO ALL DEMS.

This story is from Virginia. You are spinning out of control.

That being said, Fairfax county needs to answer for letting this criminal back onto the streets.

That Governor is a lunatic. Perhaps complying with ICE could help them rid the streets of violent illegal immigrants???

Somehow that doesn't compute with Liberals.

There were a bunch of DEI Liberals at those hearings yesterday. It's hard to believe that the Democrats elect these people. One dumber than the other, all kissing Waltz's asss.

This was a pretty good response from Walz to Mace:

Throughout Wednesday's hearing, Walz repeatedly pushed back on Mace. "I'm not here to be your prop," he said multiple times. When she asked, "Is doing Minnesota math a prop?" Walz replied, "Minnesota ranks at the top. Where does South Carolina rank?"

The question he was responding to was “Do you know what a woman is”?

Once again the Republicans are obsessively focused on this one issue. It’s really disturbing how obsessed they are.

He apparently used that same response about being a prop to several of Mace’s questions.

Good for him. Mace is such an idiot. Hillary took her apart as well.

Minnesota has not explicitly lowered its formal high school academic standards
, but it has experienced a decade-long, significant decline in student proficiency and a growing gap between rising graduation rates and actual academic achievement. While standards are officially reviewed every 10 years, proficiency in reading and math has remained stagnant or decreased, particularly after 2019, with recent data showing 2025 scores among the lowest in 30 years.
The 74 +3
Key Trends in Minnesota Education (2015-2025):
  • Declining Proficiency: Proficiency rates in math and reading have dropped significantly; in 2025, less than 50% of students were proficient in these subjects. *I call this the Somali effect*
  • Long-term Slump: The decline in reading and math scores began pre-COVID-19 and was exacerbated by pandemic-era school closures.
  • Performance vs. Graduation: While graduation rates have remained high, a large percentage of graduates struggle to meet college-readiness benchmarks in reading and math.
  • New Standards, Lower Scores: In 2025, new science standards resulted in a drastic plunge in test scores, with only 26.2% of students achieving proficiency.
  • Reading Overhaul: Due to persistent low scores, the state passed the READ Act in 2023 to overhaul literacy instruction to be more evidence-based.
    The 74 +6
Despite the state’s efforts to improve, including increased funding, student performance has continued to fall below 2019 levels.

None of this addresses how Minnesota compares to other states.  Also, lol at “the Somali effect.”  Aren’t they like 2% of the population?  Are you really trying to blame 2% of the population for overall proficiency falling below 50%?

They may only be around 2% of the state population, but approximately 80% of them reside in the Twin Cities metro area.

This represents the largest concentration of Somalis in the US.

Not surprisingly, that's where the majority of the fraud took place.

Man I knew many of the righties here were stupid, didn’t realize they don’t even know how to read.  Walz was correct, Jordan was wrong.

Joel Casas-Santiago, 46, and Guillermo Mercado-Chaparro, 44, are both charged with one count of Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine. Mercado-Chaparro is additionally charged with Illegal Reentry by a Removed Alien.

900 pounds of meth sounds like a lot, to me. Securing two felony convictions in a high-profile drug case sounds like it should be considered a real triumph for the U.S. Attorney’s office, said to be crippled by departures and defections in recent months.

But I searched both Bing and Google and could not find a single media story about these convictions.
