Male athlete sues Princeton for complying with biology.

Transgender athletes are quickly demonstrating that they don't intend to accept new rules and orders forcing them to accept biological reality.

The latest example being transgender runner Sadie Schreiner, who's now suing Princeton University for being allegedly excluded from a women's race held on May 3. Schriner's complaint alleges that the male athlete tried to run against women in a 200-meter sprint at the Larry Ellis Invitational. Per the suit, officials allegedly told Schreiner 15 minutes before the race started that the event would be limited to females.

The complaint says that a Princeton official told Schreiner, "I do not want to assume, but you are transgender." This amounted to a "blantant and willful disregard of Sadie's rights as a transgender woman…thereby causing Sadie Schreiner forseeable and emotional harm," the lawsuit says.

I have been saying this for years. They have a willfully undiagnosed mental illness and I explain it like this. If my kid told me they had to puke after eating to feel right the doctors would not affirm this.  They would not tell him it is ok to puke after every meal. Yet somehow if I brought the same kid to them and said he does not feel like a boy they slap a dress on him and call him Sally? bulllshit. That is a failure of the medical establishment,

 

My sons female cousin was going through a lot of mental issues and tried to kill herself a few times. The last time she went to the U of M and they convinced her that she was a boy. She started saying things like " I am a boy and I always have been"  The thing is she was a fat slob. She got put on a WLD and lost 70 lbs, suddenly a boy took interest in her and she is no longer trans. I think a lot of this is self confidence issues.

If its all about the opportunity to play sports and compete then why not just compete in the mens divisions?  

Are most trannys going to quit sports if men cant compete vs women?  Why?  Because they wont have advantages?   Or is it something else I am missing?  

Most of these college athletes that "turned" into women, competed against males all throughout childhood.

I think this could be interesting.  I would have to think that if SCOTUS actually makes a ruling, and is in favor of the transgender person, Title IX could be out the door.  Whether that's through the law or evolution, not sure... but it could be the beginning of the end of women's athletics.

Seems odd that women fought for these opportunities in the past and now are willing to give them up freely.  Who'd a thunk it?

As is often the case, it isn't the women who actually compete who favor trans men in women's sports -- the overwhelming majority of athletes oppose it, but many don't say anything for fear of becoming social pariahs.

Yeah, I imagine the SC will vote along party lines and this gets shut down.  I think we need to hope that if they make a decision, that it's unanimous.  If it's party lines, that could lead to problems down the road.  I mean, I'm pretty confident that the first thing that happens when the SC becomes majority left, that Roe v Wade is re-instituted.  If this is done via party line, this could be something re-visited as well.
