But I doubt he can do that math since he thinks turning a water shut off valve automatically means water just DISAPPEARS.

Ha nah I think what he was pushing back against was the “twice” part, I think he’s acknowledging he’s been banned at least once (which is still funny since he likes commenting about others who were “asked to leave forever,” which he was also).

And I simply don’t understand their motivations. 
The vast majority of Israelis, however misguided their views are on a variety of subjects, want what most people want: to live their lives in peace and security and prosperity. NONE of what they are doing right now will achieve these goals.

Doesn’t matter. A two state solution remains the only viable answer. I have no idea if it will ever happen. But the alternative is constant war and terrorism and Israel is currently making itself less safe, not more.

Hamas seems to have pretty deep support among the civilian population in the Gaza Strip considering how much they were celebrating in the streets on October 7th. The general population looks pretty radicalized to me. Israel is going to do what they have to do to defend themselves. October 7th is what's coming for all them if they let their guard down.

Also, Hamas deliberately chose schools and hospitals as air cover for their headquarters and operations. Since they fired missiles from schools, hospitals,  and residential area, they got blown up in retaliatory strikes. Consequently, iys Hamas themselves are primarily responsible for the collateral damage. Also, a large portion, maybe the vast majority, of humanitarian aid that goes into Gaza gets seized by Hamas.

There may well be abuses in detainment of Palestinians and many of the allegations about settlers in the West Bank seem valid but this is not an easily settled matter. Every attempt at a two state solution has been shot down by the Palestinian side. When people who hate each other live in close proximity like that, sh*t happens.
