nobody Posted September 2, 2025 Posted September 2, 2025 And I'm not here to say they're going to be great or anything, but they won 3 games last year, but they essentially were playing without a quarterback for most of the season. I mean they had Watson for the 7 games who isn't even an NFL caliber player any more and went 1-6. Then they switched to Jameis for 7 games and went 2-5, but at least he was approaching competent. And then of course they went 0-3 with Baily Zappe and Dorian Thompson Robinson. Well they still have a top 10 defense. And now they have a competent QB in Flacco. This is easily a 6 win team. If they were in the AFC South, they could win the division. Saints will be worse. Colts will be worse. Jets will be worse. People think the Raiders are going to be good for some reason, but they have no defense. Last I looked the O/U on win total is 4.5. They'll easily beat that. Make that money. Quote
jrokh Posted September 2, 2025 Posted September 2, 2025 Still hasn’t signed. Expected this week. Quote
JagFan Posted September 2, 2025 Posted September 2, 2025 You lost me at Flacco. I think you answered your own question. Even if they did have a competent QB, vs a game manager, who are the weapons? Saints will be bad for sure, but the jury is still out on which of them will be worse. Jets got two times better by subtraction…Rodgers sucks. Colts have playmakers in J Taylor, Downs, and Pittman. They added a great playmaker in Warren. Danny Dimes makes them better than they were. Again, it’s Cleveland. That can’t even sign their first round pick, and they drafted two very talented QBs that they will do a two-for in ruining them simultaneously. Quote
TBayXXXVII Posted September 2, 2025 Posted September 2, 2025 The Browns will probably win 4 or 5 games. They won't be as bad as the Saints, Giants, or Titans. Quote

polecatt Posted September 2, 2025 Posted September 2, 2025 It's the Browns... Any given year, if I didn't know a thing about any team in the NFL, the Browns would be one of the first 3 teams I thought of for worst team. There's lots of history to back it up. Some teams, no matter what, good players and coaches or not, always seem to lose. The only other teams I can really think of on par are the Lions and the Jets. The Browns this season, have a gigantic clusterfock at QB. Somehow, a 40 year old Joe Flacco is their best bet, easily. All anyone seems to care about on the team is a 5th round pick who may as well be a social media star as opposed to a QB. Quote
LaChup Posted September 2, 2025 Posted September 2, 2025 I'm not here to say the Browns are going to bad, I'm here to say they are going to be horrible. Shedeur isn't even the best player at his family get togethers. Quote

The saints are tanking this year AND next if need be for Arch. I do not care what his record is at the end of the season for arch. Quote

I have almost zero faith in management in cleveland. they signed a QB who was out of football a full year and was accused of molesting massage practicioners and given that baggage, they had the nerve to fully guarantee his contract anyways. Now in salary cap jail the team is hooped for years due to that stupid signing. and this is just one of many dumb moves that team has made. Quote

LaChup Posted September 3, 2025 Posted September 3, 2025 Take a listen to their female Assistant GM's recent psychobabble and you will understand why they are in the running for worst team. https://www.tiktok.com/@browns/video/7545606139904412983 1 Quote
SaintsInDome2006 Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 The secret to FF is getting premium players at cheap prices and what always happens is some new Coach or OC or player changes the system. Old dysfunction causes assumptions in performance, then results exceed expectations then it takes a while for owners to believe & in that gap you grab players who excel. The Browns had tons of dysfunction at QB last year, now they might have some stability. If Flacco does well, the Browns will do well. But if it’s not them it will be some other team busting out. Emerson's Boozers Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 Of course they are in the running to be the worst team. They are every year. Certain franchises just don't get it. Quote
MDC Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 Cleveland was dead last in scoring and 27th in points allowed per game. They don’t have a single offensive player you need to game plan against and play in a rough division. CLE opens the year against the Bengals, Ravens, Packers, Lions, Vikings, and Steelers. They’ll be lucky to start 1-5 and probably go 5-12 at best. They may not be the worst team in football but I’m very sure they’ll be picking in the Top 5 next year. 1 Quote
nobody Posted September 5, 2025 Author Posted September 5, 2025 They'll easily win 6 games. I wouldn't be surprised if they beat Cincy this weekend. In fact I'm picking it. Quote
JagFan Posted September 6, 2025 Posted September 6, 2025 I’m adding the Chiefs to the list of contenders for the worst team. Quote

Its not like Richardson was a world beater. but.... Jones has been pretty decent in this offense. I'll definitely give credit where credit is due. put the guy behind a line that actually can block and the results are like night and day compared to where he was previously. we learned this lesson the year before with Sequon. Yet do we see the giants loading up on O line guys? I still see a crappy line. They just dont get it. Quote
