And he's doing the half time show? 

I did a quick google and he doesn't appear to be my kind of music. 

I usually only watch for commercials anyways, so we will see about this year.

Maybe gutterboy is onto something after all. 

From knowing fock-all nothing about this person 12 hours ago, I could not be less impressed with this choice. 

I won't l be tuning in. I learned my lesson. I can only handle about two seconds of rap before the headache kicks in. You guys might recall, since I had been online chatting with you in real time during halftime of that Super Bowl sixteen or so years ago when it happened. I still remain traumatized to this day from those thirty desperate seconds I spent searching for the remote as Black Eyed Peas-generated screeching noise emanated from my TV. And they were only wearing wacky space suits, not dressing like women. Never again.

My God, it pains me that the Lions might have to win their first Super Bowl with this guy around.

Dude is one of the biggest stars on the planet, especially amongst Spanish speakers. He'll pull a huge audience of people that wouldn't normally GAF about the SB. 

I don't care for his music (what little I've heard) but if you're hacked off about who's performing at the SB halftime show because politics then you probably need to take a break from the world.

Meh. It's not like the NFL is trying to alienate conservatives, which likely make up the majority of their fanbase. I think you're just underestimating Bad Bunny's reach. He is #12 on the list of most-streamed artists on Spotify since 3/1/2023. Take a look at the below list and tell me who wouldn't have pissed off MAGA? It's either artists they don't like, or artists that don't like their politics. And several ahead of Bad Bunny have already played SB halftime.

I honestly had NO clue who he was until I googled yesterday. Not hacked off about who performs, but I also don't want to hear a bunch of political shiiite in general when I watch the game (from either side) and I don't like it during commercials either It's ALL ANYONE ever talks about these days. We need to go back to just watching the game, funny and creative commercials and your usual half time shows. Having performers on there is great, but why is it necessary to bring up their political affiliation regardless of party?
