NEWPOSTERGUY! Posted February 9 Posted February 9 How many hispanics play in the NFL? And I'm talking real hombres, not the mixed variety ... so, how many? Hazard to guess maybe a handful? Hell, there are prolly more Samoans/Pacific Islanders in that sh1tshow league than Hispanics, but ... well, guess their culture is relegated moot - I mean, is Don Ho still alive? Ya follow? Hispanics are not even voracious fans of the NFL ... they are predominantly Soccer/Baseball/Boxing - they MAY give a hang about the NFL, but nowhere near as passionate as they are about the other three sports I listed. Why do we need to kowtow like this? Goodell and his fruitcake flunkies are so desperate to prove that they're "down with the brown!!" ... like the cucked suburbanite white boys who sold out their culture in the 90s & beyond by patronizing rap & hip-hop, the most vile cultural shitstain to ever trouble daylight, that. We are a-slippin' and a-slidin' ... careening straight into the demonic clutches of Third World-ism. I'm sure FBGs loved it. This is all that needs be said. 2 1 Quote

I'd picked an Army MOS that didn't translate to much of anything in the civilian world, then took the college money I earned to study history, and thus wasted a large amount of time in my 20s getting credentialed and picking up skills that no employer needed. So then I went to China, where round eyes, a pulse, and a Michigan accent landed me a teaching job teaching kids the language I knew well because I grew up speaking it. I had my own apartment, respectable job, disposable income, a pretty girlfriend and it turned out I had an aptitude to do it well. I was a lot better off than I'd been before, so I stayed... for 21 years. Now I teach remedial eighth grade math in a sh*tty, fourth-rate public school that I have made arrangements that ensured my youngest daughter attends somewhere else via Florida school vouchers. I already have another teaching job lined up for when school lets out in May. 1 Quote

Or a success… if you’re in the private school business. The more money they take from public schools, the more money these private and charter schools pocket. It’s a racket. The “promise” of vouchers was nothing but propaganda for, profit-seekers. That’s how I’ve seen it play out anyway. Quote

From discipline to academics, my daughter's private school is far superior to mine. All these private schools are and Its not close. We do offer bus services, better after school activities, and everything is free wheras I have to cough up extra money for anything my daughter does. The Florida Step Up scholarship only covers tuition, but that's 90% of it, and I'm happy to eat both the other 10% as well as the extra 20 + 20 = 40 minute commute time every day to keep her out of the public school system. 1 Quote

To save like 5k a year when you're probably paying like what? $80k - $150k in taxes each year? Quote

You are allowed to take a loss of $3k per year. Anything beyond the $3k you roll over to the next year. So over the years since I've booked about $300k in gains and offset them with my carryover. Oh wait. I think I get it. You probably claimed like $240k of loss the first year to offset most of your earnings that year, and saved the rest. Then you've been claiming $3k ever since. Quote
