Dowdle vs Chubba

hey guys, 

coach wouldnt name Dowdle the starter.      are you guys still rolling with him?

I dont have a stake in this.    but in looking at Dowdles big games,  he put those up against what might be the two worst rush defenses in the NFL.    so right now hes looking better then he actually is.

the defense hes up against this week seems to be average as far as run defenses go.   looking at yards per carry given up.  average.

Total rush yards is slightly above average but I'm guessing that is due to late carries in garbage time in games they were losing.

so this one should give a better idea as to whether he is the real deal.   either way if I had Dowdle and someone gave me a good offer I'd consider taking it.

For this week... if I owned both or just Dowdle, I'm starting Dowdle.  If I own only Hubbard, I'd consider him an option for flex.

Hubbard was still a limited participant Wednesday and Thursday so my guess is they ease him back in somewhat. 

Dowdle has definitely earned a bigger slice of the pie. I know it was Miami and Dallas but how many RBs get 230+ yards from scrimmage in back to back weeks even in easy matchups? 

I have both and I’m rolling with Dowdle this week because I think he’ll start and Hubbard will maybe come in more on pass-catching downs. 

Going forward though it could be a little messy and I could see them rotating series unless one of them really sets himself apart.

I think the opportunity to shop Dowdle for anything meaningful has passed now, unless he has another big week this week and someone is convinced he’s now taken on the No1 role.

This could be another Bucky Irving / Rachaad White situation.

Chubba will definitely cut into Dowdle's workload but it's definitely the Rico show. He's been too good to keep off the field
