cyclone24 Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Been a great game. Kind of appreciate the LeBron in Madison Square Garden nostalgia one more time. Quote
Gepetto Posted February 2 Author Posted February 2 This is the first game in a new Sunday Night NBA on NBC. Quote
Strike Posted February 2 Posted February 2 The announcers are annoying. All they do is gush over Lebron and Luka despite them being on the losing end. My favorite was when a Knicks player had a breakaway for a layup and the announcer gave Lebron props for "almost running it down for a block.". Quote
Strike Posted February 2 Posted February 2 At least I don't have to worry about getting Doris Burke for the Nuggets game. Quote

Strike Posted February 2 Posted February 2 So Dallas could have a team right now built around Jalen Brunson and Luka? Quote
cmh6476 Posted February 2 Posted February 2 With my son being in Wisconsin sounds like he's been following the Bucks a little and might go to one of their games. Last week was his birthday and he asked for a Giannis jersey as it didn't sound like he was going anywhere. Now it looks like Giannis could be traded this week Quote
Gepetto Posted February 14 Author Posted February 14 NBA All-Star 3 point contest is on now. Devin Booker on fire! Damien Lillard also on fire. Back with Portland, hasn't played all year (injury (tore achilles last playoffs, close to full recovery). Quote

cyclone24 Posted February 15 Posted February 15 Whhhaatt?? The nba all-star game had a halftime that represented cultural music appropriate for basketball in this country done by an artist whose race makes up the vast majority of that sport? The horror!! Quote
edjr Posted February 15 Posted February 15 NBA should bring back all 3 point shooter winners and do an 80s winners, 90s winners and 00 winners. 1 round each. Quote
Gepetto Posted February 26 Author Posted February 26 I miss 1990s NBA. These star players today don't even play. Voltaire Posted February 26 Posted February 26 We'll gladly take the W, but the Pistons caught OKC on a banged up day. I had this game circled as a test but the team that OCK could muster to take the floor was a shadow of what they can normally assemble. Quote
Fumbleweed Posted March 10 Posted March 10 SGA is a cold blooded killer. These last two OKC-Denver games have been epic. Quote

Well, I think it makes a difference who did it. He’s a nice player, but I don’t know if anybody’s that excited or goes and buys a ticket to watch Bam. Yeah, and it’s weird. I know the wizards are not very good, but I just don’t necessarily also buy that a guy in his entire career hasn’t remotely touched that many free throws much less has anybody has the kind of game that warrants that type of getting calls volume. I mean he’s not held in the same light as SGA or Jordan or a curry, etc. He’s not that level So to give him that many calls almost feels like the refs got into it as well maybe not cheating but just and being there for that game.
