the term for being in a country without permission is alien, and it is ILLEGAL.  That is not calling someone an illegal alien it is defining the exact crime they have commited

"Undocumented individual" is non-descriptive.  "Individual" is meaningless, and "undocumented" sounds like a person who should be here, but we just haven't gotten around to providing them their documents.

"Illegal" is an adjective which accurately describes the noun "alien," because they are an alien in this country and have either entered or stayed illegally.

I try not to just call people "illegals" because I can see how that is degrading, but I refuse to use an inaccurate, non-descriptive phrase because some blue haired sky screamers have decided it is offensive.
