Yeah I saw that. My FIL went to Iowa so my wife is a fan and I've paid some attention to them. But they didn't even hide it, announcers were like "and the fans are preparing to storm the court" Sounds like Toppins' injury might be bad And Wisconsin had a pretty rough night, although not as bad as UNC. I didn't want them to storm the court but the more I thought about it the more I was ok with it. It's a completely new team with a new coach. This is their first big win together. The fans have been criticized for years at Carver for not showing up and they are starting to do that more this year. This is what makes college sports so great. Quote

Nebraska is really struggled lately and I really question how good they actually even are. And Iowa has played a lot better. But yeah, i was a little surprised as well. I heard Ben McCollum speak at a Rotary club meeting in Maryville I visited when he was the coach for NWMSU. Super nice guy. My actual alma mater's rival is NWMSU but they kind of see us as their little step-brother Another interesting fact, his assistant coach, name Xavier or something I think knows my wife really well as she was the high school counselor where he went to school, chose her as his most influential educator or something like that during a basketball season (something all the kids do each year). He ended up playing for McCollum at Northwest then went on to join his coaching staff. 1 Quote
