LVSaint429 26 Posted November 6 9-0 but I know we have a long way to go. Already have CMC & would like to upgrade at WR. Thinking of offering Taylor & a throw-in for CBrown & Jefferson. He still has JSN & Rice at WR. Taylor’s schedule gets tougher while Jefferson’s gets really tasty

weepaws 3,358 Posted November 6 Tough lineup, but , giving away ff mvp , mmm tough decision. This a ppr, and how many WRs do you start?

This a ppr, and how many WRs do you start? 14 teams so that explains the lack of true WR1 They’ve all taken turns having big weeks .5 PPR, lineup is QB,RB,WR,WR,TE, FX,FX,K,D
weepaws 3,358 Posted November 6 I know, I play in two 14 team leagues, tough, mm I like the move for Jefferson and Brown. Good luck. But I hesitate because Taylor has been so good, and CMC injury record is also a concern.

If they underperform I’ll make the offer & just take my 1st L this week
show me the murray 51 Posted November 7 Rough night for the stack. If you’re going to go for the trade I might see if I can get Rice instead of Jefferson, especially if you’re expecting the loss this week anyway as he’s on bye. Jefferson’s schedule might get better but McCarthy has still only made three starts in his career and is yet to throw for over 160 yards in a game.

Looking at name value, 1st instinct says I’d be giving up too much. But looking at it again, 2 things about Allen…still has a bye in week 12 & he’s been getting phased out with Gadsden emerging
weepaws 3,358 Posted November 7 Flacco has without question helped Brown, when he runs into darkness because their o-Line stinks, Jefferson having a predictor below par season because his Qb situation is very unstable, Allen isn’t what he was at the start of the season, but he’s getting targets, and Taylor is simply the mvp in ff. Im very cautious when it comes to late season trades, I’ve seen so many people ruin a very good team instead of helping one, I would still hesitate in making that deal. But can’t blame one for doing so. I hope it all turns out great for you, go win that ff championship

I’ll eat Brown’s bye now rather than take my chances next week with Taylor’s. Colts schedule is gonna be rough down the stretch too. Feel like I have better balance all around rather than depending on JT for 150 & 2+ TDs every week.
Maximum Overkill 2,454 Posted November 8 It feels like you're just moving points around. Seems like a lateral move, I don't hate it though

Not as dependent on 2 players anymore after the deal & eased my bye week concerns QB- Nix, Goff RB- McCaffrey, CBrown, Vidal, Singletary WR- Jefferson, Sutton, Moore, Kirk, Austin TE- HHenry, Musgrave (lost Kraft) K- Reichard D- Browns, Chargers Who knows? Maybe Jefferson leads a comeback & I pull out the win this week anyway
Nomad99 815 Posted November 8 I don't like it from your rb standpoint. We still don't know what we have in Chase Brown the rest of the season & Vidal might have little to no worth after their bye week.....leaving your rb core pretty weak.....Cmac & Singletary both have byes week 14. I see your point, but wouldn’t you say now Brown is actually now returning the value we were looking for at draft time? Vidal is locked into his main role for 3 more games minimum, then he’ll still get snaps anyway. Jefferson definitely upgrades my WR1 slot. My biggest concern was relying too much on my 2 RBs every week with my WRs being so inconsistent

I just think you are raising the bar in one place & lowering it in another with little to no net gain.
