Come on Barkley, run forward, even fall forward.

Weather is shaping up to be bad. Windy and cold.  I’m thinking Stafford over Hurts

Replaced santos with McLaughlin just a few minutes ago. Been feeling the wind myself. Not that it would make it so he couldn’t have a good game. So basically he will go off

Barkley has forgotten how to run.

I was obviously just joking about Hurts.

I get it.  but up until a minute ago it looked like you were bang on with that comment.

wow that was a horrible time to blow an extra point.  Nice work Jake Elliott

I have a great shot at moving into first place with a good amount of ff points, but no, Barkley retired after week one.

Oh wow, Barkley up to five ff points, lean.

well, it looks like the bears are dominating the LOS battle.  (at least a lot of the time)

thats not everything, but it sure is a significant advantage.

well, this was a pretty good litmus test for the bears.   I know it wasnt pretty for Caleb but he also found a way to win.    Philly is a good team and the bears found a way to beat them.

the real story is the Bears O line dominated.    Thats hard to do against Philly.   most games philly wins the LOS battle and they lost it today.  clearly when the dont win that battle they struggle and it showed today.

While it does look like the bears are protecting Caleb somewhat with conservative play calling,  I dont mind that.

at the end of the day, Caleb wasnt awesome but he was good when he needed to be.   and in a matchup against a good team like the Eagles, that means a lot.  even if the game wasnt all that good statistically.

Giants were right to dump Barkley. :o

Uh .. I can think of over 2,000 reasons they were NOT right last season!  (And, he could have gotten the record - he was held out the last week of the regular season.)  Also - remember; last year's OC took the Saints HC job.

Barkley was plenty good last year.   even if he craps the bed from here on out, it was still a good move for philly.  they got a SB out of it.

They played conservatively (basically ran the ball all day) because from the first drive it was clear the Bears could run all over the Eagles.  They got the lead they never relinquished and Caleb's arm/legs really weren't needed today.  When both your main RB's get over 100 yards rushing the passing attack can take a day off lol.

you are not wrong.

The bears clearly won the battle at the Line of Scrimmage today.   and thats a battle the Eagles normally win.    That was the story of the day (in my opinion)

given how bad the bears O line was last year, I'm a bit surprised they have been this good.   I know they made moves, and drafted players, but those moves dont usually pan out this quickly.  its usually like a 2 year process to turn things around to this extent.  and thats assuming the team knows what they are doing. (not always a good assumption)

That's an Eagles line all day.

The Eagles will obliterate the Bears today. Stone cold lock!

This held up well.

Cut him

I wouldn't cut him. But, I definitely would be looking to possibly start another RB; instead of him. I wish I started Aaron Jones from the Vikings this week over Saquon.
