Chickie 84 Posted Saturday at 03:07 PM I'm probably not gonna do it but at least I'm thinking about it. Start Dart @ NE over Start Allen @ Pitt, with his two starting tackles out. We saw how that worked out v Houston.

WhiteWonder 2,962 Posted Saturday at 06:17 PM too cute. You drafted Allen to start him every week without thinking. Not to say Dart can't outscore him but at the end of the weekend, you'll be less pissed if Dart has more points on your bench than you will be if Allen does.

Chickie 84 Posted Sunday at 09:49 PM Did the unthinkable. When in doubt and there’s a unanimous consensus about Allen, left me no choice but to go with Dart. Watching this game, it’s clear to me, for whatever reason(s), Josh Allen is no longer *that guy*

You were fortunate, though Dart may still face-plant - a good chance since I have him going tonight (on second thought, I'm so far behind that I would need Dart to have one of those Josh-esque 6 TD games to have a chance, so he will probably only score 5 TDs causing me to fall just short).

Yes but when your supposed QB1 (or RB/WR) is not playing to the level of other potential starters, need to get away from this "He'll always be my 1 because I drafted him as the 1". Yeah, Allen will usually be the right choice but not always. Case and point: Lamar Jackson was drafted as a #1 QB. The last 3 weeks Tyler Shough has outproduced him....and it's not even close. Justin Jefferson was a top 5 pick but with his QBs he's not that guy week to week right now. He's a mid level WR2.

FF QB18 with multiple duds. In that case you have to be willing to pivot. Josh Allen is not just this owners QB1, he is the FF QB1. So why would there be a need to overthink this? Considering benching struggling stars is entirely different than thinking about starting someone over the top point scorer at the position, who you drafted for a reason.
