Because the reality of transitioning from one sex to another isn't pretty.  

You don't hear about the regret stories because that's not as lucrative; there's no money in people maybe getting therapy instead of cutting their wiener off. Cut that wiener off and put in it's place a hole that's essentially a gaping wound - you've got a client of the medical system for the rest of their life however long it may be.

If anyone has done ANY research at all for those who've transitioned medically and or surgically, they would have seen the horror stories. The near to constant pain, the medical issues FOREVER, infections, multiple surgeries, the list goes on. 

How many wish they'd either never done it, OR go through de-transitioning, OR they just kill themselves because it's all just too much to bear. 

The evidence is there, it's just that the trans-narrative can be so strong and loud, that the opposite view is quieted. 

Um excuse me but I was told, here very frequently, was they committed suicide because of the anti trans community.   That was the big reason.
