This is news is to early, later like August would have been perfect, the value of Niners players would have been great buys.

I have mentioned in posts going back at least 2 or 3 years.

I have mentioned that San Fran seems to have more than their fair share of injuries.   I always assumed that the quality of the turf or the trainers/coaches were likely to blame.   it is possible they still bear some of this burden, but this validates my claim to some degree.

if you go back 5 years, San Fran on average is one of the more injured teams (on average)   I ran the numbers a couple of years ago and they were top 5 in I think it was 4 out of the prior 5 or 6 years (I forget)  but they do get injured more than average.   I'll stand by that for sure.

I almost tore my achilles falling down the stairs. I was running too fast because I was angry; that was like 8 months ago. It hurt for about 6 months.

Kittle seemed like he was twisting his leg a bit when he got tackled on that sideline play. He should have just let his body go more limp and not resist contact; probably. If you tense up in car crashes; it causes more injuries. Usually, better to just go limp on a sideline tackle or run out of bounds. Let fate determine the outcome. If that makes any sense.

that is easier said than done.  its a natural reaction to brace for impact.

but if you have that ability... all the power to you.

I don't know what a torn achilles feels like; but that initial day I was in a whole lot of pain. I didn't go to work, called in and my manager was not happy with me; the next time they saw me.

Don't think EMF caused this one.
