But there are only a couple of acts I'm willing to shell out north of $500 to see, and while I like the Boss, I don't like him THAT much. IIRC last time he was in Mpls the show was at US Bank. Now it's at Target Center, which is well under half that capacity. Prices will be insane. And he probably won't even play the few songs I'd like to see most. When he was younger, Springsteen shows ran for 3-4 hours and he pretty much covered his best known and popular songs. I saw him at the L.A. Sports Arena in October of 1980 and he played for about 3 1/2 hours IIRC. However, I don't know if Bruce, at the age of 76 has the stamina to go for that long. Quote

I'd pay if he just did 10 of his most popular tunes and the entire Darkness on the Edge of Town album. Realistically, he'll play at most two of those songs: Badlands and Prove It All Night. Zero chance he goes deep and includes Something in the Night, Racing in the Street, the title track, or Candy's Room. I don't want to hear Hungry Heart, Rosalita, or Glory Days. 1 Quote

squistion Posted February 19 Author Posted February 19 Quote “Hey little girl is your daddy home, did he go and leave you all alone ? I got a bad desire. Oh oh oh I’m on fire”. WTF? He’s also in the Epstein files. Yes, he is, but it means absolutely nothing. AI Overview Yes, Bruce Springsteen's name appears in the documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, which were released as part of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, but his inclusion does not indicate any wrongdoing or direct association with Epstein's crimes Based on the released documents and reports from February 2026, here is the context for his appearance: Event Mentions: Springsteen is mentioned in the files because Epstein was a fan, attended, or discussed attending concerts where Springsteen performed, such as the "12-12-12" Concert for Sandy Relief. Social Correspondence: In a 2009 email, a contact mentioned to Epstein that they "sat with Bruce Springsteen" at a dinner, and another note mentions Springsteen as a performer at a high-profile party, according to reports in the files. Routine Documentation: The files contain millions of pages, including routine items like event invitations, news clippings, and public-facing emails where numerous celebrities are mentioned. Musicians mentioned in these files, including Springsteen, are highlighted due to their name appearing in a "wide variety of contexts" that are often, on their face, unrelated to Epstein’s illicit activities. Maximum Overkill Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Liberal Hero Springsteen signed off on $3,000 tickets for his new concerts. Fans cannot be surprised. To repeat what I wrote amid the uproar in ‘22: Bruce Springsteen does not care about you. He cares that he, his band, his management and his production company all get paid what they believe they are worth — fair enough — and he knows that no matter what he charges, there will be butts in seats when he visits Prudential Center in Newark April 20. After all, at 76, Bruce’s shows are an increasingly finite product — who knows how many more nationwide runs he has in him? Supply and demand, free market capitalism, blah, blah, gag me with a microphone wire Quote

Maximum Overkill Posted March 13 Posted March 13 If Bruce Springsteen is "for the people", then why are his ticket prices unaffordable for most working class Americans? He looks like a lesbian, cries about Trump constantly, has zero talent and falls off of stages like Biden. He's also Pervy. Hey little girl is your daddy home Did he go away and leave you all alone I got a bad desire I'm on fire Tell me now baby is he good to you Can he do to you the things that I do I can take you higher I'm on fire Quote
Fnord Posted March 13 Posted March 13 12 hours ago, Hardcore troubadour said: It fluctuates with dynamic pricing. The websites you mentioned are secondary market. It's individuals selling seats they've already purchased. You can find pretty much anything there, no matter how quickly it sold out. Unless it's the day of the show and the seller is desperate, prices on those sites will almost universally be higher than face value. Quote
