nobody Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Tough to win that challenge, but I don't think Maye got that first. Quote
Bills04 Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Ha, ha - Payton, and NOT kicking that FG early in the game. Your DEF was dominant vs. NE. $uck it, for "following the analytics!" Quote

I don't even think he followed the analytics - any analytics that tell you to go for it with your back-up quarterback against an elite defense in a game where it is obvious that points will be at a premium because you also have an elite defense are simply wrong. I don't think analytics factors in the players playing the game. It's just pure statistical analysis of odds based on equal players and equal opponents and is just pure math based on the rules of the game. Quote
nobody Posted January 26 Posted January 26 They would've lost anyway. Pats stopped even trying to score because the broncos were no threat to score. Quote

I think that's the point - any analytics that aren't considering the game conditions and talent level of the players are just garbage. It's like saying the Jets are just as likely to get to the next Super Bowl as anyone else. No one in their right mind would bet on that with even up odds. Quote
weepaws Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Congrats Patriots fans, what a true testament of How greatly run that organization is, to lose the Goat, and to be able to return to their twelve super bowl. Quote
