***Official Super Bowl LX*** Seahags vs Cheatriots

This didn't even have the feel of a SB and seem like many people didn't even care about it. I bet lowest ratings in years when they come out.

Doubt it, Patriots fans alone probably put it past other years

The Patriots are now 6-7 in superbowls. Out of the the 13, 3 were duds, one was so-so and the other 9 were all really good. Not too bad.

Amazing that nfl coaches (Vrabel) still can’t figure out when to go for two. Isn’t there a sheet to tell them? Meathead.

Bummed that the Pats didn't win, but even though the Steelers and Patriots both have six Super Bowl championships (since the NFL didn't apparently exist before the Super Bowl era), the Patriots still reached six titles time-wise before the Steelers...

Steelers:  First title (1974), first SB appearance (1974), sixth title (2008) - Took 34 years to win their sixth title (after winning their first) and 34 years since their first appearance
Patriots:  First title (2001), first SB appearance (1985), sixth title (2018) - Took 17 years to win their sixth title (after winning their first) and 33 years since their first appearance

But Steelers got to 6 first.

Actually, they're 6-6. They've only been to 12 SBs. But yeah, most of them have been good games.

Hes young.  But that was bad from Will Campbell.   A top 5 OT getting whipped like that isnt a good sign rven if its early in his career.  He may have to move inside.  But they will need to come up with something.

Pats offensive line isn't bad.  They simply got out coached.  Campbell was a top 5 pick and had a good season, he was the 12th best ranked tackle in pass defense.  He had a bad postseason and his coach and QB didn't help him.  Pff ranked the pats o line 11th.

Many of those pressures should have been recognized by Maye but he failed, and mcDaniel didn't call enough plays to counter the pressure.  McDonald' defense is great and it was the first time maye saw it and he got trounced.  Sacks are not always the fault of the o line, QB and play calling contribute a lot.

Yeah. He'll be given another year to figure it out. See what he does.

But 21 sacks in the post season? That's just stupid bad. Maybe they just froze up under the bright lights? :dunno:

He could be fine.  But that was all time bad.  It definitely raises concerns.

Obviously sacks arent only on the OL.

But did you watch the game?  Getting dog walked into the QB isnt on the QB.

- Seattle's gotta get a new O,C, (I hope they promote from within).

- Franchise K9, then work out a longer term, meet in the middle deal.

- Resign Shaheed, and there lesser FA's. (Don't resign Riq Woolen).

- Skip FA as far as big money deal, new players are concerned. Keep the plenty of payroll in house.

- Draft a CB round 1. RG round 2. And best BPA for Rd. 3,6,7.

- Extend JSN and Witherspoon before the season starts. Don't even f around. Pay now while they have it. It'll stink for a couple years. Then by year 3 of the contracts. It'll be a bargain.

And we'll see what happens from there.

Eagles I think are gonna need to figure things out. Non of them like each other. I don't even think the coaches and players like each other. Cowboys are the Cowboys. Giants, Commanders are too young. Vikings are a mess. Bears are headed in the right direction, but still young. Sorry Packers, I just think the coach and QB are overrated. Lions might have missed there window. Panthers too young. Atlanta, I don't know wtf those guys are doing. Saints are too young. T.B. seems solid, but nothing scary. Rams, gonna be a problem for another year minimum. 49ers, I think just gotta start over. I like the coach, and they'll be back. But gotta get younger and break up the band. Cardinals, should just give up.

Rams. I'll see you next year for a NFCC rematch. Hopefully the outcome is the same.

Yes I watched the game and there were some bad plays by the OL but not all of them, and that doesn't negate the success they saw during the entire season nor does it necessitate drafting an entire new line.  During the post season they saw a murderers row of pass rush and they were not ready for it.

They will definitely do some work this offseason on the OL
