I bet some snowflake reported Megla calling attention to how unhinged real Tim was.  Hence the perma ban for Tim

I’m not sure if Tim was permabanned.  But no I didn’t report him

I'll take the under. Enjoy watching Kid Rock!

I never watch any halftime show.  I eat and talk to people about the first half.  :dunno:

Is Kid Rock even performing?  Personally, I don't even care.  In retrospect, based on your ignorant response, I actually think it'll be even higher.  I think this year's Super Bowl will be the most viewed in history, and it's all because of politics.  I think there will be plenty of people (many leftists), will turn the game on for the sole purpose of driving up the numbers of people watching Bad Bunny.  I think about half of his performance will be in Spanish, half in English.  About half, needs to be in English so panderers can actually talk about how great his performance was and understand it.  Willing to bet he has a "new song", written solely for the occassion, and it will be politically driven (and in English, so people like you can understand it and again, pander about it afterwards.  I also think that there will be a lot of people like yourself who will make sure to NOT have the Turning Point halftime show on, out of spite (I mean, your post basically drips of that), and it will be 100% political and probably against your nature.  My guess is that you like Kid Rock, but because you hate Donald Trump, you won't watch it and deprive yourself of something you like.

I think the opposite will be true, but I don't think the numbers will be there.  Mainly because I think the vast majority of conservatives, like football.  That said, there will be non-football fans who will turn on the Turning Point halftime show, for political reasons.  I do think the people watching the Turning Point halftime show will genuinely like the performance.  I'm pretty confident that at my friends' house, where I'll be for the Super Bowl, both will be on.  I don't see a valid reason for any person, who likes the people participating in the Turning Point halftime show, to not watch it.  It will be 100% political and out of pure spite.  If someone had 2 options, watch a performer/performance they like or watch a perfomer they never heard of and/or don't even understand, they'd watch the one they like almost every time.  This one will be different.  There will be Kid Rock fans (if he actually is performing), that will not watch, out of spite.  Though, full disclosure, I don't know how many Kid Rock fans would be leftist. 🤔  If Nicki Minaj is perfoming, I have NO DOUBT, she will have many fans not turing her on, on spite.

I'll put total viewership of this Super Bowl at around 150M, with about 60M people watching the Turning Point halftime show.

Kid Rock is who people are forced to listen to in hell. How can anybody like that crap he calls music?

All Summer Long is awesome. If you don’t like it you’re a dik

Will KR perform his classic “Balls in Your Mouth”?

Cruising through town in my jacked up truck
Eyes open 'cause I'm scopin for a big butt slut
One that I can take straight back to my house
And have suck my D and put my balls in her mouth

Think I’ll stick with Bad Bunny.

Lots of predictions here. I'll bookmark it and we take it back up on Monday.

I used to like Kid Rock, it lasted for about a year after he got big. Loved Bawitdaba and Cowboy back then. I saw and enjoyed him at Woodstock 99. I even like All Summer Long, though it's a warmed over rehash of two far superior songs (and I generally don't care for Lynyrd Skynyrd much; if I never heard Sweet Home Alabama again I'd be stoked). Eventually I recognized that he's not all that talented of a songwriter/ musician and is a pedestrian singer, at best. That happened long before All Summer Long or Trump came along. I rarely GAF what an artists politics are. I try to judge them on their art, and if I don't like that, why the hell would I care who they vote for? For that matter, even if I like their art, why the hell should I care how they vote?

I'll probably watch Bad Bunny because that'll be what's on where I'm watching, I assume. If it gets turned to Kid Rock, I'll watch that. I DGAF which team wins, and don't listen to either artist. I'll be there for the good food, good buzz, and friendly people. The only SB halftime acts I remember caring about in the least were Prince and the Weeknd. It's not usually featuring artists I find appealing. I'd watch Nikki Minaj; I actually like some of her music, including collabs with Kanye, like this all-timer:

JESUS CHRIST! I've never watched that vid before and won't again. Twisted stuff; but I do like the song on it's own merits.

LOL that you think people will watch Bad Bunny with the sole intention of increasing ratings; cuz people really care about that!

So this Burrito Bunny guy, is he still doing the halftime show?

I'd try a bunny burrito. Tastes like chicken!

Apparently Kid Rock is also organizing a festival this summer also with both him and Brantley Gilbert.  But they just cancelled one of their dates as bands have dropped out.   Shinedown made a statement that they were pulling out because they want to stay apolitical, but now I’m sure righties will boycott them over it.

Lynyrd Skynyrd made one of the greatest songs of all time. The only problem was it's about Alabama.

So when my Macomb County brother tweaked it and made it about Michigan in 1989, which is the year I graduated High School, well it doesn't get more spot on than that.

Kid Rock - It's Still East Detroit To Me

This is very early Kid Rock before he became famous. Its part Billy Joel, part incomprehensible noisy punk rock bullsh*t. I'll try to translate the parts that I understand, meaning the Billy Joel parts.

He'd moved from rural Romeo in northern Macomb County down to East Detroit, which is the inner-ring suburb I'm from on the Detroit border. In 1992, our suburb had just recently changed out name from East Detroit to Eastpointe, which sounds like Grosse Pointe which is where all the rich focks on the east side live.  I'd have rather a name not affiliated with them either, but oh well. The idea was it'd increase property value, which didn't pan out.

He wasn't happy about the name change as you can tell. I'd voted for the change. Coleman Young was in his 18th year as mayor, destroying the big city on the other side of 8 Mile and its reputation. Fock if we wanted to be affiliated with them anymore. In 1992, we'd thought it better to be the bastard stepchild of the Grosse Pointes than have anything to do with Detroit, but Kid Rock disagreed with my take.

Anyway, he thinks we're racist because we didn't like having Detroit in our name and compares us unfavorably to David Duke supporters.

Can’t watch Bad Bunny but are going to watch a show with the creepo who said this about the Olsen twins:

"Why is every guy in America waiting for these chicks to turn 18? I mean, you know what I'm saying? If there's grass on the field, play ball!".

I don’t.  I wish both sides would keep politics out of sports.

Did the Green Day guys get a day pass from rehab?

Normally I don't pay much attention to the halftime performer nor care too much. Sometimes I heard of them, sometimes not.

This year for the first time, with all the hoopla surrounding the two options, it actually feels important.

The worst halftime show of all time was Black Eyed Peas, it gave me halftime PTSD. "Ahhhh! My ears, my ears! Where's the remote? where?"

I don't remember who played in that Super Bowl just the torture I endured at halftime and missing the first five minutes of the third quarter.

I'm still recovering from the trauma, but I'm tough. Yeah. Don't worry about me. I can do this. I can. Yeah.

Gabby Barrett kicked ass!

I wish this wasn't such a Country Music event though, not a fan of the genre
