SaintsInDome2006 Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Clinton was about a lot of things - populist (light), Southern Democrat, picked another Southern Democrat as a running mate, balanced the budget (sorta forced to but he owned it & threw it in the face of the GOP), declared an end to welfare. But there were some terrible aftereffects- didn’t take out AQ & OBL when we had him in our sites, & the awful toxicity he & Hillary injected into our politics. I could go on, super talented politician but he also helped set us on the long path we’re on now. I cannot believe Comer is so foolish as to give this guy a stage again but he appears to be doing it.
